Pregnant after a Loss

Lack of Symptoms

I'm sure that I'm just over reacting/stressing but did anyone ever not experience they typical early symptoms of pregnancy?

1st pregnancy - I remember being moody, cravings, and nauseous 24/7

2nd pregnancy (ending in MC) - boobs were sore, had some all day morning sickness, horrible headaches, and really bad cramps.

This pregnancy - boobs are sore every now and then, sometimes I get a little queasy, get occasional cramps, feel a little bloated/pants are a little snug.

Not sure if I'm just not far enough along (which I'm hoping that is the case).

Any encouraging words would be great.

Re: Lack of Symptoms

  • Yep, and it kind of freaks me out too. What symptoms I do have come and go. I try to remember that every person and every pregnancy is different. Pregnancy itself is scary, but pregnancy after a loss...good lord. I hope you're able to relax a bit and enjoy being pregnant :)

  • I had zero symptoms my entire pregnancy and my rainbow is 7wks old :)

I might have had a day of fatigue and upset stomach, but even those days were super mild.

  • @MrsSnyder124‌ isn't that the truth! I mentioned to my hubby yesterday that I had woken up that morning feeling a little nauseas and then 2 seconds later was starving! He said he was sorry. Told him not to be because I'm determined to not complain about anything the entire pregnancy and enjoy every minute. Funny thing is that I don't have anything to even complain about if I wanted to! God has a sick sense of humor!
  • I felt zero symptoms for the majority of my pregnancy. Around 8 to 12 weeks I may have had a few semi nauseous spells, some sore boobs, but it all came and went. I'm 37 weeks pregnant now, if that helps!

  • I never really had any symptoms with this pregnancy. Everything seems to be going fine. I always worried about the lack of symptoms but they don't indicate a healthy pregnancy.

I had the most stereotypical symptoms my 1st time around that ended in MMC. I had zero symptoms with my 2nd pregnancy that ended in EP. I had heightened sense of smell and extreme fatigue with my 3rd pregnancy that ended in natural MC. I had very few symptoms beyond on and off sore boobs and some fatigue with my 4th pregnancy, of which I am snuggling a sleeping 3 week old baby boy in my arms. I never had unusual cravings or aversions with any, and I also never once vomited, although was very nauseous the 1st time.

Goes to show you really can't judge a pregnancy by the symptoms you may or may not have!

  • I had zero symptoms and felt perfectly normal until about 12 weeks. I probably won't have even known I was pregnant if I hadn't taken a million tests.

  • I had sore boobs for the entire first trimester but only the occasional bout of nausea starting at 7w and ending at like 10w.
