Are doctors visits really necessary? I found out i was pregnant about last month in the middle of it. And I haven't gone since i found out. Is that bad or should i really go? I also have these weird feelings in my stomach that i never felt before, might it be the baby or my morning sickness? P.s. Since i havent been to the doctors i don't know how far along i am.
What do you mean why am i here. My aunt told me to get this app because its a great app, and i can ask any questions i want and get great responses. Thats why i posted this question.
Congrats! Go to your doctor so you can get an expected due date and get started on prenatal vitamins. Your doctor can tell you how necessary and often they would like to see you.
Based on your due date you can do the following: - join your birth month board (june, july, august, etc 2015) - set a date with your aunt for your baby shower - share your estimated due date with others once you start announcing to more friends and family
(Truth be told...for answers to your questions you are better off on the 1st Tri board or a BMB around your due date....We are all dealing with sleep deprivation and nursing babies... therefore you will get limited responses as compared to the other boards on this "app")
Doctor visits are just a way for the Man to get you down and steal your money. Women have been popping out babies since the beginning of time, amiright ladies?
Technically your first appointment doesn't have to be till your 8 weeks along. Just call the doctor office and they will tell you when to come in. Also my doctor never confirmed I was pregnant until they did the ultrasound at the 8 week appointment so no you don't have to go to the doctor to confirm your pregnant but you do need to go to get prenatal care.
Also, you can go to a midwife instead of an obgyn too.
Nah. Baby will just fall out in a few months without much trouble. Meanwhile if you have any questions you can just return here and we will gladly diagnose and treat you. There are even a few medically trained people amongst the skin stealers. It's kinda like medical advice roulette.
Oh, and Congrats!
