I was reading on first tri that you are having cramping in your legs, and were recently having sciatica problems. I am a physical therapist and just wanted to let you know that quite often sciatica pain can "travel" down the legs causing various symptoms. Your cramping may actually be your sciatica acting up. Just thought I would share.

Re: *Bee*
I often had my sciatica patients complain of calf cramping, even to the point it would wake them in the middle of the night. I am currently a pediatric physical therapist so I am trying to recal from my outpatient days but if you had pre-exsisting sciatic pain it is possible that the increase in hormones is causing laxity changes in your ligaments and aggravating things. I hope this answered some of your questions.

Bee, I had issues early on in my sciatica as well. Oddly enough they're minimal now. But, I went to my chiropractor who fixed me up in no time. He said its pretty normal throughout pregnancy, as he's treated lots of women from the beginning.
