Breast pump question

LO and I will be flying to Seattle in 3 weeks. I was just wondering if I should carry my pump on the plane with me or if there is a way to rent one or something while there so I don't have to carry the thing around. There may be room in my suitcase to pack it but not sure if that's a good idea since I'll be checking my bag. Thanks ladies

    Why do you need to bring a pump? Would a hand pump work? I just wash/sterilize mine and pack it fully assembled in a ziploc bag so it's ready to go.

    @Teresa1896‌ we are going because my dad is donating my cousin a kidney and I wanna have a pump just incase I need to leave Brody for a while to take care of him. But now I feel kinda of silly cause I didn't even think of a hand pump. I guess that would work!
