My 13-week old was previously an amazing night sleeper from birth (1/2 max wake ups in 12 hours). she recently started waking up anywhere from 4-6X per night. She's waking up hysterical and will only calm down when I BF her (paci, rocking don't help and make her even more upset.) Once on the boob she only eats for a few minutes and is back off to sleep. If I wait and see what happens before getting her, she'll go from 0-100 in hysterics in under a minute.
Anyone else have any experience or with something similar? She's not even quite 3 months old, so seems too early for 4 month sleep regression. Help! I'm losing it, and any tips are greatly appreciated.
Yeah - same thing here. It's been extremely frustrating as our LO had been sleeping through the night for the past couple of weeks. Then all of the sudden - he's up every hour on the hour. Last night he only woke up twice and I actually only had to get up with him once, so hopefully that means we're heading back to "all night" territory.
Mine is behaving similarly. We had our first 8 hour stretch on christmas eve and after that it's been up every two hours at night. Feeding her is the only thing that calms her down but sometimes I kind of feel like she is just going through the motions and doesn't really need it. I'm hoping this is just the 3 MO growth spurt. We already went through the 3rd leap. And I'm afraid of the 4th.
Ugh... I've been awake for most of the night the last 3 nights... Crying and fighting going back to sleep. I put him on the boob but I think it's mostly just comfort nursing. We're also 13 weeks. I'm hoping this phase will pass soon. I'm so tired!
