2. I have a doctor appointment next Friday. I had to reschedule my appointment this past Monday. I'm hoping we'll be going over my a/s results. Do they go over details from that? I don't remember.
3. None this week
4. We have a few neighborhoods in my hometown that do large displays for Christmas. Inflatables, lights, hot chocolate & one house actually has a different display built every year and they go back to the 70's. Every display is different and lights up and moves. It's really a great family that does that. I went when I was younger and now we bring our kids.
1. 21 weeks, April 30th, pomegranate! 2. Not really...my next appointment is the 30th, so I'm just in between right now. 3. I have zero tolerance. For anyone. None, zip, nada. There is one particular co-worker who just pushes ALL of my buttons and my hormones are having NONE of her nonsense. I also have yet to feel baby's movements, sigh, which I know is normal but I feel left out! I feel like I'm missing out on more time with her...which I know is silly but sometimes it just makes me a little sad. Which also is selfish considering she's healthy, and other people have way bigger problems. But again, my stupid hormones are making me so unstable, haha. 4. Christmas eve candlelight service, then home to open one small gift and read Christmas books. I love the holiday season
Married 07/27/12 : BFP 8/23/14 : EDD 4/30/15 : IT'S A GIRL!
1. How many weeks are you? EDD? Fruit? 21 weeks/ April 30th
/ Pomegranate (which is convenient because they just came in season here)
2. Any updates or
upcoming appointments? We
have our A/S tomorrow. For some reason, the closer it gets I am getting more
and more nervous. I have had two u/s already, but for some reason, this one is
making me nervous. I think because this one is more “medical” in nature. Just
hoping everything looks ok with our little peanut.
3. Symptoms? Concerns?
Rants? Raves? Lots of movement
that can be seen from the outside at this point, which is exciting. I have been
having major issues with gas on a daily basis, which is really annoying, but
other than that, I am feeling like a pretty normal pregnant person at this
point.
4. GTKY: Favorite
holiday tradition? Going out with the
family, finding and cutting down the perfect Christmas tree and decorating it.
1. 25 weeks / Due April 1st / Baby's the size of a cauliflower
2. Next appt is Dec. 30th, and we'll be scheduling the glucose test
3. I'm a little worried about the glucose test but I'm trying not to stress about it. Also, DH and I cannot agree on a boy's name (we're team green but girl's name is set) and it's driving me nuts.
4. No real traditions; we just love spending time with our family. And we're looking forward to starting new traditions once Bug gets here!
1. How many weeks are you? EDD? Fruit? 22w, 4/23, papaya
2. Any updates or upcoming appointments? Nothing for now, next appt is in January.
3. Symptoms? Concerns? Rants? Raves? I must be getting used to being tubby, cause I've ha a few days where I feel almost normal and not pregnant, until baby moves around a lot that is!
4. GTKY: Favorite holiday tradition? Baking cookies, which we haven't done this year at all also DH and I have begun. Our own tradition on Christmas morning of spending time snuggled in bed being peaceful and happy and talking about happy Christmassy stuff. Not sure that'll last once our baby girl is old enough to wake up at the butt crack of dawn for presents.
1. How many weeks are you? EDD? Fruit? 21 weeks; April 30, Pomegranate.
2. Any updates or upcoming appointments? Just my 24 week in early Jan. Get to meet my OB for the first time in February.
3. Symptoms? Concerns? Rants? Raves? Have a cold or maybe the flu. It's possible that it's Hand, Foot and Mouth thanks to a careless neighbour whose kid got my kid sick.
4. GTKY: Favorite holiday tradition? Our family's favourite is wishing our horses a Happy Birthday at midnight on NYE. Most of ours were previously racehorses and the convention in the racing world is that all horses birthdays are celebrated on January 1st. I love standing with them in the field and congratulating them on their year with the stars overhead and the sound of their calm breathing all around me. So grateful that my husband and daughter have grown to love this as well.
I would like to join the group check-in. I have posted only a little on the April board as I have mostly found my comfort on the PGAL board. But thought it might be nice to have more contact with those who are closer to where I am at in the pregnancy. Hope you don't mind.
1. How many weeks are you? EDD? Fruit? 22 weeks, 4/23, papaya
2. Any updates or upcoming appointments? We just had our U/S last week and everything looked great (also a push for me to be less reliant upon the PGAL board). I also found out that I have an anterior placenta which helped diminish my worries about not feeling baby alot. So 3 weeks until the next one.
3. Symptoms? Concerns? Rants? Raves? Indigestion, no matter what I eat or if I haven't eaten at the most random times of the day. Rant: To the idiot at Motherhood Maternity who asked if I was buying clothes for a friend...WTF, really? Rave: Loving the footrubs I can coax out of MH these days.
4. GTKY: Favorite holiday tradition? Overloading on Christmas movies, MH leaves the house alot at night to avoid all the movies, which seem to make me cry alot this year because of these wonderful hormones...

2. Any updates or upcoming appointments? Going in for a midwife appointment on Monday in lieu of the group Centering appointment we'll miss in January as we'll still be in the UK. It will be with a different midwife, as I'm trying to make a few more faces familiar, no clue who will be there at delivery.
3. Symptoms? Concerns? Rants? Raves? I feel a few kicks/bumps that I'm assuming are movement, but have an anterior placenta and they are not quite obvious. Kicked an oncoming cold this week by doing nothing on Tue and Wed. Really nothing nothing, but now I feel like I should tackle the dishes that have been building since Monday.
4. GTKY: Favourite holiday tradition? Sushi on Christmas Eve. I'll be a bit more limited this year, but still looking forward to my favourite sushi place near my parents house in CT.
Thanks for the welcome @Cliffhaven my Thursday check in on PGAL consists of women over 30 weeks and under 20 weeks so it is nice to be able to relate more to what is going on. And meet a few people with the same due date.

2. Had an appointment earlier this week. Found out that the baby's left kidney is dilated, it is apparently nothing to worry about and usually fixes itself and we will be monitoring it with another ultrasound in the third trimester. If it doesn't solve itself, there is a simple surgery that can be done when they are older. On a happier note, we had an elective ultrasound yesterday and we are having a boy!!
3. Nothing this week. I am finally getting over a terrible cold I've had for a couple weeks now. My only symptom lately is a heaviness in my pelvic area when I've been walking/standing a lot.
4. Having breakfast with my family on Christmas morning!
1. Weeks? 23. Due April 16, Grapefruit. 2. Upcoming? We made the decision to switch from my doctor to a midwife recently and we'll meet with her next week! Excited about being so close to the 24 week v-day (viability day) threshold next week - makes it feel so real. 3. Symptoms? My acne is finally clearing up. It's been on my neck and jaw line and is finally gone - suddenly at almost the 5 month mark exactly. Feeling really good baby kicks several times a day, and loving my beautiful bump that's finally popped nicely. 4. DH and I have a new tradition for our family, and that is to deep fry the turkey for all holiday occasions. He's American and I'm Canadian so it's taken some getting used to but I love how involved he gets, plus it frees me up to do the other cooking and leaves the oven available for baking
1. How many weeks are you? EDD? Fruit? 23. April 16th. Grapefruit.
2. Any updates or upcoming appointments? Just had our monthly OB/Gyn appointment today and the results from our A/S ultrasound (Dec. 2) are good! OB/Gyn said everything looked good and baby is growing on schedule I do have to do a follow up ultrasound, as baby was positioned towards my back. The tech was unable to get good pictures of the heart or feet. OB/Gyn is not concerned though!
3. Symptoms? Concerns? Rants? Raves? Lower back and hip pain. Tired, tired, and more tired. Gas. The worst being the lower back and hip pain... making it harder and harder to get comfortable and to sleep.
4. GTKY: Favorite holiday tradition? Christmas dinner and watching A Christmas Story, Home Alone, and The Sound of Music.

Edited to change number of weeks
2. I had my 24w appt today. All looked well. Had to have a second a/s to get the rest of the shots needed. Next appt is 28w and GTT.
3. I'm really tired. Still no real cravings and lots of a versions so I haven't been eating healthy. Salad tonight though. Forcing myself.
4. I don't have a favorite tradition. I love everything about Christmas.
