To the moms who are still breast feeding, after your baby got their first tooth did you have really sore and sensitive nipples? LO has not bitten me yet but nothing else has changed except she has a tooth barely out of her gums.
Yup. She wasn't biting, but it was like her tooth was rubbing against the base of my nipple, irritating the skin. It has stopped now after about two weeks!

Same here, she was rubbing with her tooth as it wa cutting and i had sensitive nipples for a couple of days and then she started biting me (she has 2 bottom teeth), but I've been doing the smush against boob and saying "No" firmly and she seems to have understood.
We are still using a nipple shield (DS never could latch correctly) and now that he has teeth I'm so glad to have the shield even though it's always been annoying to use it. He's definitely bitten a few times and it's offered me protection haha
I feel a little friction now that her bottom two central incisors have finally cut through, but not enough to make it sore. She did bite me a little once, but I'd been feeding her puffies (those cereal puff things) shortly before so I think she was still in "chew mode".

Re: Boobie question
Yes I did. It has been a couple of months, but I think the soreness only lasted a few days.
Her top teeth will be in any day now and I am a little more worried about those.
