Does anyone have any suggestions on a post partum belly band to help after pregnancy. I'd like to buy one but there are so many options. Obviously want something flexible that's easy to move in. Any suggestions?
I used a supportive wrap that you would find from the exercise aisle or gym equipment section of a department store. Everything felt pretty loose and mushy for a while and this just sort of held things in place. I had a friend who had a c section recently and the hospital provided something similar for her before she went home.
I used the bamboo belly bandit after twins and loved the soft feeling of it. I bought a small and outgrew it within a couple weeks however. From what I've read you basically have to buy two sizes. One for right after birth and then another when you get too small for the first one. I stopped after one because I was happy with the progress I saw and was back in my normal clothing.

I used a fitness belt also after I had my daughter last year and it was great, my tummy went flat within 3 months! Yippy! They're really inexpensive too so that's a plus!
I used both a belly bandit and a regular old belly support from Walgreens for both ds and dd. I loved belly binding and it even helped with my hips. I was in regular clothes 2-3 weeks pp with both kids, and the extra support was great. I likes both kids equally but recommend one that is long and goes from your ribs down to your hips no matter what you buy. Otherwise they creep up.
This time I'm going to try a wide ace bandage for comfort's sake. The others are just a little bit uncomfortable.
Oh! I also didn't wear mine at night. Lots of people tell you to, but I did just fine without. I'm worst about pooching out my tummy during the day when I'm waking around with babies anyway. That is when I need the help.
Watch zulily if you want a good deal on a belly bandit. They'll have a big sale on then between now and may.
Try the Bellyfit brand. My first pregnancy (c-section) I used a regular girtel boy short type. It helped me out a lot and for c section it helps support u better too. And my second one I used a work out belly slimmer type from wall mart. But it would creep up! This time around I'm getting something from Amazon just looke up pregnancy wraps I would recommend boy short type! They really do help!

Although I do like both my kids equally.
