How is water break?

I am 19 weeks now..
Suddenly I felt wet...
I ran to the toilet and saw some light mixed with some white sticky liquid on my panties and it was alot but it didnt ran out of my panties..... when i toke a tissue and wiped it, it was kind of yellow color
I am so WORRIED!!
what might this be?
Is it baby water?
Baby was so fine and everything was fine a week ago..

Callllllllllllll your doctor.

We would have to do a litmus test to your fluids to tell you if you're having a baby. I'm all out of frequent flyer miles and my litmus paper is running low. I'm sorry.

Call your doc. Good luck. Sounds like discharge hopefully it's nothing.

Also, lay down and after a few minutes stand up again.  If more runs out, that is a good (but not certain) sign that it could be your water has broken.  BUT like others have said, call your doctor!

:-?? :-? I'm not too sure...your care provider would know. Have you called them? That would be my first suggestion, if you are that worried.

I agree with everyone, call your Dr. Sounds like CM to me but better safe than sorry.

I'm thinking its likely CM, second tri brings loads of it, but you need to call your doctor with questions like this.

Definitely call your doctor asap!! It could as beezybaby says, if you lie down and stand up and more flows out, it could be your water has broken...

Def call your dr. But as others have said, prob just discharge. I have started wearing a light pad/panty liner because its a good flow somedays.

This has happened to me a few times. It's so embarrassing but for me each time it was just discharge. Our bodies are producing a lot more right now. In my last pregnancy, my water broke- and that was an unmistakable event. Large gush of water, more than a full bladder pee (sorry, gross). Anyways- with your water breaking it usually continues too. Of course, if the baby is pressed up against the cervix then the baby can act like a bit of a stopper and then your water would only sort of dribble out of you, and so that's where a lot of women have confusion/can mistake this. I'm sure by now you've contacted a doctor, but hopefully it was just discharge and you don't feel silly about worrying that it was your water- you aren't the only one who has had that worry!

I've had little "gushes" of CM that felt like a lot of fluid coming out. Have you called your dr? Hope all is well.
