Anyone ever have to pay out of pocket for an ultrasound? I had one 6 months ago because I thought I may have an ovarian cyst. Insurance didn't pay and I owed about 800 dollars. Is it different if you are pregnant?

Like pp have stated, it's different for everyone, everywhere. Call your insurance to find out for sure. If you contact your dr, they can give you the code the use to bill for a pregnancy u/s. Then you can ask you insurance specifically about these u/s.

Our experience: We have to pay for u/s. It goes towards our deductible. We have paid about $175 per, while pregnant. One I had while not pregnant was $300, so for my insurance, it does change.
