Tired, but overall feeling much better. Still struggling to eat anything after 5pm. Super addicted to OJ.

We had a check up yesterday that went really well and we got to hear baby's heartbeat

Symptoms: Back pain and round ligament pain occasionally

Questions/Comments: I am finally showing and got my first pregnancy comment! I am also really anxious for the anatomy scan on January 5th.

Beta@14dpo: 184, 17dpo: 520. 44 hr. doubling time. p4: 54U/S 8 weeks 1 day, 161 bpm
Symptoms: nausea pretty much gone though I randomly gag and have thrown up a couple times in the past week or so. Feeling baby poke around a little bit too
Appointments/Milestones: Had to reschedule this week's appt for next week. I will be scheduling my a/s soon too!
Questions/Comments: Just can't believe how fast this is going by! I feel like after the holidays May will be right around the corner!
GTKY: Real or artificial Christmas tree? And why? We have an artificial but I love real trees. This tree was given to us and is just so easy. Not to mention my 14 month old would probably try to eat the needles from a real one.
Symptoms: Still tired but I think thats just due to my early commute. Hungry a lot. Had some slight RLP last week that seems to have eased up. Starting to feel flutters (I think-ftm and not sure what to be feeling for exactly!). Congested easily and backaches.
Appointments/Milestones: Tuesday is our anatomy scan and I can't wait to see our little boy again! This will be the first time seeing him since we found out we are having a boy!
Questions/Comments: How are you ladies dealing with the hunger if you're experiencing it like I am its almost 24/7 for me!
GTKY: Real or artificial Christmas tree? And why? Real. This is our second Christmas in our house and my husband always grew up with a real tree and I never did, but always wanted one, so as soon as we bought our house I knew I would always get a real tree. I love picking it out and how full it looks and of course how nice it makes your house smell and it just really adds to the overall feeling of Christmas!!
Symptoms: Occasional puking, some fatigue, round ligament pain. All in all, I'm starting to feel a lot better. Baby moves and kicks like crazy.
Appointments/Milestones: A/S tomorrow
Questions/Comments: I can't believe we are already at the A/S stage. It felt like forever with my first. I guess it helped not telling anyone until we were 14 weeks- didn't have the constant "how ya feeling, are you sick, do you know what you are having yet", kinda nice...
GTKY: Real or artificial Christmas tree? And why? Fake, I hate putting lights on a tree. It's really about the lazy factor for me lol. Next year we may do a real tree with all new ornaments since we will be in our new house.
Symptoms: Back is starting to hurt a little, uncomfortable in certain sitting and sleeping positions, pregnancy brain. Oh and baby is a little gymnast in there, wiggling and kicking a lot.
Appointments/Milestones: Anatomy scan on 12/18!! Excited so we can see how baby is progressing and find out the sex.
Comments: People can tell I am pregnant now, definitely have a bump going on.
GTKY: Real or artificial Christmas tree? And why. Artificial 3-4 ft tree. It's just DH and I right now so we haven't really gotten into the whole holiday decorating. We have small artifical pre lit tree, stockings and an ornament door wreath.
Symptoms: been feeling quite good, and I want to eat every carb in the whole wide world
Appointments/Milestones: on Monday was our anatomy scan, I already mentioned on the weekly appt thread that baby is looking perfect (and for someone who hasn't felt baby yet and hasn't popped that's fucking amazing)
Questions/Comments: it's starting to become real.... My chubby belly is beginning to get rounder.

Ohhhh well back home in Aus we have a large artificial tree inside and then we have a large real one outside covered in tinsel and lights, because it's hot, a lot of our meals are outside and it's nice to have a tree out there also.
