ultrasound

I had a ultrasound done in the ER today due to being hit in the stomach and having cramping. It was just a portable one so not the greatest picture quality however they saw and heard baby's hheartbeat, but baby wasn't moving hardly at all. In fact he kept watching for a bit to make sure it would move and eventually it moved and wiggled a little bit but that was it. Has anyone else had an ultrasound and baby didn't move hardly at all?

    Baby could have been sleeping or just at an inactive time. I would think as long as the heartbeat was good, that's reassuring. I would definitely follow up with your OB/midwife Monday.

    My OB knows what's going on and I already have an appointment Wednesday so I'll probably just wait till Wednesday

    Hopefully the baby was just sleeping and didn't want to be bothered. FX for your next appointment!
