Can you feel your baby's heartbeat.? Or am I feeling my own when I put my hands on my belly firmly lol

I've heard that might be your placenta if it's anterior. I *don't* think you can feel your baby's heartbeat like that, and certainly not at this stage.

I've been feeling my heartbeat all over lately. I'm thinking it's due to increased blood flow?  But I definitely am feeling my own when I put my hands on my belly (trying to feel for movement).

That's what I was feeling for was movement because I'm 16.5 weeks and my placentas in the back so I might be able to feel something earlier. But all I'm feeling is a heartbeat. Thinking about it now it seems too slow to be the baby's anyway

To feel the baby's hb you would have to place your hand on the baby, which isn't going to happen until the baby is born.
