Silly question

Can you feel your baby's heartbeat.? Or am I feeling my own when I put my hands on my belly firmly lol

Re: Silly question

  • I've heard that might be your placenta if it's anterior. I *don't* think you can feel your baby's heartbeat like that, and certainly not at this stage.

  • My placentas behind the baby.
But yeah, I figured I was being silly. Oh well(:
  • I've been feeling my heartbeat all over lately. I'm thinking it's due to increased blood flow?  But I definitely am feeling my own when I put my hands on my belly (trying to feel for movement).
  • That's what I was feeling for was movement because I'm 16.5 weeks and my placentas in the back so I might be able to feel something earlier. But all I'm feeling is a heartbeat. Thinking about it now it seems too slow to be the baby's anyway
  • To feel the baby's hb you would have to place your hand on the baby, which isn't going to happen until the baby is born.
    Fucking bump!!!!
  • Yea just your pulse
