I have been pregnant before (twice). I have two boys but being pregnant with twins makes me feel like I am pregnant for the 1st time. My body is going through lots of changes and really fast. I am just look for sone one who can relate.
Congrats and welcome! I have a DD who will be 3 in January and I am pregnant with twins now. It is a completely different experience. Just when I felt like I was a pregnancy pro, the cards got shuffled!
We have a Twin Check-In on Tuesdays and there is also the Multiples board on The Bump that is a great resource as well.
I have an 18 month old and I'm pregnant with twins. I agree with you about the differences in the pregnancies. Morning sickness was so much harder and chasing after a toddler makes everything so tiring. Good luck to us and may we have smooth pregnancies
I'm a FTM expecting twins. I have nothing to compare it to so when my friends who have one tell me they know what I'm going through with MS, being tired etc I was never really sure. I mean I known twin pregnancies are supposed to be more tiring etc. so now reading all your comments well, I feel sort of bad-ass that I'm carrying two!
I'm a FTM also carrying twins and just like PP have nothing to compare to. It's scary to see my body change so fast but exciting in the same breath. I'm fairly certain I'm starting to feel flutters at 15wks6days...but I'm already only able to eat very small servings of food at any one time because my stomach is quickly loosing space.
I'm also a FTM and I wonder a lot what it's like being pregnant with one baby. Honestly I feel useless I'm so tired all the time. Recently I've been starting to fall asleep while driving and I feel like people think of me as a wimp for being so strongly affected by this pregnancy. It's nice to hear from other twin moms, and to hear that it is different than a singleton.
@lupineaura I'm glad you posted the book suggestion I've just been using a regular pregnancy book and trying to make it work. Thanks, I want to get that now.
I am glad that all of respond to my post. I felt so alone, as if I was loosing my mind. Why is this pregnancy making me sleep all the time and if I am not sleepy I just need to rest/relax. I have to eat small meals as well but I am growing so fast it looks like I am almost 6 month But I am only 18 weeks. I also started feeling my twins at 15 weeks and now I feel them twice a day. They are also heavy I can feel there weight on my pelvic. Which causes me to walk funny
Am also a FYM expecting twins, the morning sicknes has been so terrible, able to put down very small meals and always feeling sleepy and tired. People around me thought I was exagerating maybe but thank God am not alone in dis. Wish us all well. Am 16/6wks today.
