Im thinking of making DH a mix of songs for Christmas about being a Dad/Parent.

What are your favorites?

I love Father's First Spring by the Avett Brothers, but that's all I got so far!

There's a brad paisley song "if he's anything like me" if you have a son

"Beautiful Boy" by John Lennon if you have a boy, "Father and Daughter" by Paul Simon if you have a little girl.  Both these songs make me cry.  The first since I have 2 boys, and the second was the father/daughter dance song at my wedding.

He's mine-Rodney Atkins, DH says that will be his song for DS bc he was hell to raise. But I love that song

I love these suggestions ... but now I'm sad because DH HATES country. And too many of these are. Sad Face. But I am getting him Metallica's baby lullaby CD for Christmas!
