my mom made me this pouch sling- does this look right? It was a little big so I folded some fabric over the shoulder. It doesn't feel that secure... Not sure if it should?
Spread the fabric over your shoulder a little more. And try to get more fabric pulled between his legs up to your body to make more of a seat and that should pull his knees higher up into the M position (I can't tell if the legs are in the M position or if he just has his leg straightened). Otherwise looks good and he seems to be enjoying it!
The fabric flips over your shoulder, right, and the other side is black with spots? It looks fine, it's just hard to see that from the photo, so folks are thinking it isn't fully on your shoulder. The reverse side blends in with your shirt.
Yes- it's two sides fabric and one is dark, I think it was spread out on my whole shoulder. It was hard to get C seated as she was very squirmy! I don't think I'll be using it much because of that but want to use it in case she wants to be held instead of being in the cart when we are grocery shopping or something!
I'll double check her leg position better next time when she is not tying to escape!
If it doesn't feel secure then it might not be. Slings like that a hard cause they can't be adjusted much like a ring sling. Just try the stuff others suggested. But if you are afraid it's not secure then I wouldn't use it. But that's just me. - I do LOVE my ring sling tho and have it in the car all the time for shopping etc. Maybe google that and ask your mom to try one of those. You can find rings online for like $5-10. It's pretty tho!
