Car seat question

I'm bringing my 15 month old to nyc Saturday. We are driving and staying overnight . We have dinner reservations and since it's supposed to pour all day and night I wanted to take a cab. But, what do I do about her in a car seat???

Re: Car seat question

  • Or most cab companies have cabs with car seats, you just have to call and schedule it. :) However the subway is definitely not a bad idea :)

  • I second the Subway option.  If it's pouring you're unlikely to be able to find a cab, anyway.

  • Look up Uber Family. They have Ubers that provide carseats and a driver that knows how to install them. The seats are only forward-facing, though, just as a word of warning. If you definitely want rear-facing, I would just install it in the cab. That is what we have to do every time we come home from the airport.
