15 weeks....no Doppler heartbeat? Advice?

Hi ladies! I just had a check-up with the doctor, and so far the doctor hasn't been able to pick up the heartbeat on the Doppler, and we have not done an ultrasound yet. Doing one tomorrow to make sure everything's ok. Should I be worried? My sister in law is also pregnant only a week behind me and she has heard the heartbeat and had an ultrasound. She is pregnant with number 2 and I am pregnant with number 3. I'm trying not to freak out.

I am pregnant with my 3 rd. On Monday 18 weeks my Ob could not find the heart beat with the Doppler so she rolled in a us machines nd the baby was hiding in my hip. She pushed on it a little to get it to move out and tried again and we got a strong heart beat. They are still very little at this point and sometimes hide. Hope everything is good. I was super scared . Just try and breath and hopefully tomorrow you will get to see your beautiful little one squirming around!

Yeah I'm 16 weeks and had an appointment today and the doctor couldn't find it with the doppler. We walked to the room next door so he could look with ultrasound and all was well. He said the baby was a lot higher up than he'd expect at this point.

Try not to worry and I'm sure the ultrasound will put your mind at ease tomorrow!

Try to stay calm (easier said than done, I know!). I think since your dr didn't send you for an US right away, he/she must not be worried. Baby could be hiding/moving. Keep us posted!

At my last appointment 15 weeks also the doctor could not find a heartbeat either. So she pulled out the Ultrasound machine and the baby was just fine. The baby was just moving around like crazy.

I wouldn't be worried. I am 15w2d and I have had 3 US so far, yesterday I went in and the doctor checked with the Doppler, but you could barely hear the heartbeat. I am sure it is fine.
