Who's cycling in January??

Because our fresh cycle transfer got cancelled due to OHSS, we're going to be doing a FET in January (The embryology lab closes for a few days in December, exactly when I'd have needed them to be open I'm sure!). I'm curious who else is doing a cycle (fresh or FET) in January??

My fresh transfer was cancelled in November because of lining issues, so we are planning a FET in January.  I got my period Friday and started BCPs and will call my clinic tomorrow to see about setting things up for my FET.  My RE wants a repeat of my saline sono to make sure there are more abnormalities in my lining (I had polyps removed in September) and I am hoping to also schedule a quick consult with her to discuss my lining issues from last cycle.  I also have to talk to the financial lady to see if I need a deposit and find out how much of a credit I have to my account.

    Hi Ladies,

I think I will be at least prepping (and hopefully completing) my FET in January. My fresh transfer was cancelled in October due to high P4 and a fibroid. I'm having surgery on Thursday to remove it. Hopefully we can get a check in going soon :)

Hope you all had a nice holiday!

I don't want to jinx it...but me! FET (*loss mentioned* assuming my HCG drops from the 6 it's hovering at right now...) of 2 this time. Still trying to figure out the exact scheduling (are you supposed to have a similar amount of rest after a FET?) but it looks like January is a go!
    Yup.

@emmuffy‌ January Jelly beans is a really cute name!
I was thinking of January Snowflakes but noticed it's the name for TTCAL January group I believe.
    Maybe January Icicles or Frost?
    January Streamers or Confetti?

Or ... January Bubblies ... aka the champagne we'll be enjoying New Years, cuz none of us will be able to drink afterwards for 9 months :) !!!

Looks like IVF#2 for us will be in January. We still have some frosties, but we've been through half with nothing to show for it & figure we should bank some more embryos before I get any older.

I like some of the name ideas so far... I'll try to think of more options. :-)

@lemonliz no problem :) It's keeping me from going insane over having the transfer cancelled!

I still have one whole cycle to go through before I can start anything, and AF hasn't even arrived yet .. and I'm not sure when to expect her since it's my first IVF cycle. I did IUIs with progesterone and AF came within a day or two of ending it, but those were two weeks after trigger. I stopped Progesterone pretty early since the transfer didn't happen, so it was only 8 day after trigger that I stopped it! But I figure I'm still making my own, and me stopping the suppositories might not have been enough of a drop of hormones to start it, so no AF yet. Though I've been pretty nasty the last two days (and I don't get PMS-y) so maybe she's coming. So I must keep myself sane! I just hope she isn't soo late, or that next cycle isn't messed up because of this cycle and end up getting bumped to February!! Then I will cry.

I'm going to make a separate post where I can list the name suggestions so far, and people can make more suggestions if they like. Then from there we can put up a poll, then we can move to picking badges!

I will leave out Snowflakes since it's used for TTCAL January loss group, and Snowdrops since it was used for January 2014.

Also I was thinking .. and this is because I just love badges ... should we as a board do an inspirational badge for the entire IF group for 2015? Like the "Just Keep Swimming" one for 3T 2014?? @NariaDreaming What do you think??

I am finally, finally, finally doing my first ever IVF cycle in January... after TTC for more than 6 of the last 10 years! I am SO hopeful, it's painful. I'm already on my second week of BCP and have my lessons for my meds tomorrow.

I like Gems and Jelly Beans. ;)

I think I'll be joining in. My Tiny Turkey wish didn't happen so round 2 for IVF will most likely be in January. We have our WTF appointment on the 15th and then we decide from there on if we use our 1 frosty or do a whole new round. Depends on what the doctor recommends.

Loving the penguin. He looks so cute!
