Cramps and shakiness post iui?

Hello - I had my second iui on weds (cd 13) following clomid (100 mg on cd 3-7) and hcg trigger on cd 12. Unlike the iui I had last month, this one was accompanied by extreme discomfort- cramping during procedure and incredible pain on my left side immediately following. My dominant follicles were on my right side this cycle. Anyway, My blood pressure dropped below 100, my hands went numb, and I nearly fainted. I felt pretty shaky the remainder of the day, but I am now 3 dpiui and still feeling off. Nothing terrible but kind of shaky in my legs and sporadic cramps - particularly on my left side. I am currently taking progesterone suppositories 2x a day. Anyone else have a similar post iui experience? The dr said this reaction can happen and isn't a bad sign that the treatment didn't work, but I'm feeling bummed that this was so rough. Thoughts / advice/ similar experiences?
