I have the mamaroo. We got it as a gift and DS loved it. He slept in it at night for the first 10 weeks of his life. It was a lifesaver. He's been in his crib now for 2 weeks but we still put him in it some during the day. We liked how you can change the movement of it. And you can hook up an MP3 player to it for music. If we didn't get it as a gift we probably wouldn't have bought it because it is pricey.

I have a Mamaroo and overall we love it, however, we haven't been able to use it with our LO as much as we would like because she prefers to sleep on either mine or DH's chest. When we put her in the Mamaroo or anything else for that matter, she gets fussy. We're hoping that will change over the next month or so.
We have it and our 5 day old loves it. Anytime he is fussy it calms him down or if we can't get him back to sleep after a feeding at night it's a lifesaver. Worth every $$.
I originally had the fisher price snuggapuppy swing... Motor died in a month!!! Paid about 70$ more for the mommaroo and LOVED it! It has a stronger motor than those swings, so you can use it all night long (it's what she slept in till about 3mo) and not worry about replacing it! I'll use it through future kiddos! Worth it's weight in gold.
