Hey Mamas, question

My mucus plug came out today. I am a first time mama, about how long after yall's plug came out did you go into labor? I read somewhere that for first time moms it could be up to another week before baby is born. I am not due until next thursday (Dec. 4) Just wondering. I am so anxious to meet my baby boy that anything gets me excited for his arrival at this point.

    You might also have better luck looking at different BMBs where a larger proportion of posters have actually had their babies. Since it isn't yet December, and this is D14, the vast majority of posters on this board can't even answer this question.

The reason I had to have c sections with my first two is because my mucous plugs never fell out! they were probably blocking the babies! It all makes so much sense now. I never realized how important your mucous plug falling out really is! I should alert science! 

    Good thing I had a scheduled c this time around cuz phew, it probably would've happened again. I probably have three babies worth of mucous plugs up in there, don't you think? 


    Oh god, I threw up in my mouth a little bit at the thought. *shudder*

    If I never read the word mucus plug again it maybe to soon! I say we eat a candy bar every time we get a post about a mucus plug! ;)
