Where will you be spending the day?

We have multiple Thanksgivings to go to. First my in-laws and then my mom's. We also used to have to make a quick stop at my DH's grandparent's but thank god his parents convinced them to just come to theirs from now on hopefully.

Glad you only have 2 stops this year!

Haha thanks! The holidays can be a logistical nightmare sometimes.. Hopefully in the next few years when my kids aren't so little anymore I can host and just tell everyone to come to me  :P

First year at my house. We will have to eat around 3:30 so that DH can eat before heading to work for a 12hr shift from 5pm-5am. And hopefully my brother can make it off work and to my house in time to eat with all of us.

Same as the other SS: multiple. We go to my in laws first and then my family has always done thanksgiving and Christmas with a few of my mom's friends. If they both weren't so big, I might consider hosting to combine to one with both families.

My folks' house. My in-laws totally wrote us out of Thanksgiving this year, which is fine with me.

I picked in-laws, but "spending the day" is a stretch - we're invited for 4pm and I guarantee we will be home by 6.

Do they have everyone eat and leave?  Or do you just leave right away after eating.

We will have Thanksgiving lunch at my moms then supper at SO's uncles house.

We decided to just go to one thanksgiving this year. It's the start if alternating years. I'm helping my sister cook. I have to day off today too which is amazing. I'm making rolls, pecan pie and fudge early.

SS: We are taking MIL to a buffett! Because thats what you do in Vegas!

We will probably spend a little time playing at the casino, and maybe see some other sights. There is nothing to do at MIL's house, so no reason to sit at home.

I am not doing anything for Thanksgiving. I will be working that night, so I will be sleeping most of the day.

I have a roast prepped for my slow cooker for DH to have something for dinner. He will also be working tomorrow.

This is pretty much us, too. Our 5 year plan includes us building a new house. My dream is for everyone to come to us. Two or three dinners at every holiday gets hectic. I'd like to enjoy the whole day in one spot surrounded by a ton of family. Plus I love to cook and never get a chance to do more than a side or dessert.

We have Thanksgiving dinner tonight with my family (at my mom's house), then tomorrow we have Thanksgiving lunch with DH's family.

Another SS here going to work from 2-11:30.

My pilot and I are debating if we should do some major damage on the company credit card in the form of take out, or fly over to the station and nosh on their catered meal.

Its just me and the husband and kids this year. I'm actually looking forward to cooking on my own. I love to cook and bake.

SS, we're spending a few days in Savannah waking the squares and eating delicious food. We are able to visit family over Christmas and New year's this year, Thanksgiving is just too short of a break to travel that far.
