EDD: May 7
Gestation in Weeks/Fruit:
16 weeks 5 days
How are you feeling emotionally? Physically?
I'm feeling really good both physically and emotionally. I'm starting to relax with this pregnancy.
Any updates from last weeks check-in :
I had a great appointment last week with my OB. Heard the heartbeat with the Doppler.
Upcoming Appointments/Milestones
Nothing until my anatomy scan on Dec 18
GTKY:
I love Thanksgiving. It's my favorite holiday. My family that gets together is huge. Usually around 35 people. We have 2 turkeys. My favorite food though is a toss up between the sausage stuffing and my mom's cousins sautéed mushrooms. Delicious! I'm so happy that my stomach has settled and I can eat!!! Now I've got to get busy baking some pies.
@maggiet19 that's awesome!
EDD: May 28
Gestation in Weeks/Fruit: 13+5
How are you feeling emotionally? Physically? I'm doing pretty good emotionally despite this week's edd. Physically, pretty good other than the middle of the night vomiting. I'd love a full night's sleep.
Any updates from last weeks check-in : appt. yesterday went well. The nurse warned me we might not find hb, but we did, which was awesome to hear. At first we could hear it briefly and then baby would move, but she finally got a good reading. We were in their ultrasound room, so my doc decided to take a quick peek too. So we got more pics as well.
Upcoming Appointments/Milestones
Not till the week of Christmas
GTKY: Does your family do traditional or untraditional Thanksgiving food? What is your favorite? For those that don't celebrate is there a food you are craving right now? Traditional southern Thabksgiving. I'm really excited about the cornbread dressing and the sweet potato pie.
EDD: May 6
Gestation in Weeks/Fruit: 17 Wks, Onion
How are you feeling emotionally? Physically? Emotionally I feel pretty good, Physically I feel exhausted. IDK if I'm getting sick or what but it's a struggle to get out of bed each morning
Upcoming Appointments/Milestones: Nothing until Dec 10th anatomy scan. I'm a little nervous but also really looking forward to it.
GTKY: Does your family do traditional or untraditional Thanksgiving food? What is your favorite? For those that don't celebrate is there a food you are craving right now? Traditional and I love almost everything. My least favorite is the turkey, but I have to have a small piece because it's Thanksgiving! My favorite is a tossup between the stuffing and the corn casserole. Pumpkin torte is my favorite for dessert but we usually have pumpkin pie. I'm hoping there are lots of leftovers this year
Thanks for including me @kate6214
EDD: 5/5/2015
Gestation in Weeks/Fruit: 17w2d - onion and somewhere else said size of my open hand which is way more fun to think about
How are you feeling emotionally? Physically? Emotionally? So excited and happy. Physically? Heartburn is starting up and my lower back is feeling better.
Any updates from last weeks check-in : I don't think so, last week we found out the sex (bouncing baby boy) and that was a big moment for us. Tomorrow we're telling a lot of our family members so that should be fun. Oh and this morning we got back a bunch more normal, healthy results
Upcoming Appointments/Milestones: just have to get my cervix (TMI?) measured next week, which I'm trying not to think about too much.
GTKY: Does your family do traditional or untraditional Thanksgiving food? What is your favorite? For those that don't celebrate is there a food you are craving right now? Nothing really too untraditional, maybe pasta? I don't know if many people do that. My favorite is hands down, no questions asked mashed potatoes
EDD: May 30, 2015
Gestation in Weeks/Fruit: 13weeks 4 days/a peach!
How are you feeling emotionally? I'm ok. Getting anxious for our appt on Dec 15...we get to find out what it is! Physically? So much better this week than last week. Not a lot of nausea, still tired and now more headaches but it's ok, I'm used to those
Any updates from last weeks check-in :nope
Upcoming Appointments/Milestones: just our appointment on Dec 15
GTKY: Does your family do traditional or untraditional Thanksgiving food? What is your favorite? For those that don't celebrate is there a food you are craving right now? We do traditional food, except one year, my grandma and uncle decided on untraditional. We were all so furious, it's funny now but not at the time! Favorite food would be a tie between cheesecake (baking now from scratch) and holiday potatoes (mashed potatoes with sour cream, I think, in them).
I hope you all have a wonderful
Thanksgiving! To those of you announcing, have fun
EDD: May 15
Gestation in Weeks/Fruit: 15w Orange or apple I think?
How are you feeling emotionally? Physically? Okay, RLP and hip pain still kicking my a$$, changed my work schedule so I no longer work 2 12's in a row, means less productive days off but better for my body I hope.
Any updates from last weeks check-in : Heard the HB yesterday
took them a while to find it so I was starting to get nervous, but eventually found it and it was in the 160's. We could hear the baby doing flips in there too.
Upcoming Appointments/Milestones: Anatomy scan Dec 17, just over 3 weeks! Can't wait! And then regular 20wk appt will be at 21wk actually on Jan 2, but excited because my mom can come since she'll be in town.
GTKY: Does your family do traditional or untraditional Thanksgiving food? What is your favorite? For those that don't celebrate is there a food you are craving right now?
I've worked pretty much every thanksgiving for the last 10 years since I started in healthcare. We do non-traditional left overs at friends houses usually. I have been wanting mashed potatoes a lot lately, it's a good thing I haven't gained any weight this pregnancy so I can eat to my hearts desire this weekend!
EDD: May 13, 2015
Gestation in Weeks/Fruit: 16 weeks today/avocado
How are you feeling emotionally? Had my 16 week appt today, just a normal prenatal with doppler. Everything was good, so makes me feel reassured.
Physically? Good, getting bigger. I think I am 5-6lbs up from my pre-pregnancy weight.
Upcoming Appointments/Milestones: 16 week appt today and 19 week on Dec 18 for anatomy scan and finding out the sex
GTKY: Does your family do traditional or untraditional Thanksgiving food? Traditional
What is your favorite? all the fixings, especially mashed potatoes and gravy!

Upcoming Appointments/Milestones Anatomy scan is scheduled for December 22!
GTKY: Does your family do traditional or untraditional Thanksgiving food? What is your favorite? For those that don't celebrate is there a food you are craving right now?
We do traditional food for Thanksgiving. My favorite would have to be sweet potatoes and this cranberry relish that I make.

@sunshinedaisies000 GL with the announcement tomorrow. That's such a big step. Let us know how it goes! I'm glad all your test results were good!
@maggiet19 Feeling movement must be so reassuring. I love your family's tradition for your family to help on Thanksgiving. What a wonderful thing to do!
@littlecookie Thinking of you this week as you pass your EDD. I'm so glad your got to hear the heartbeat and an extra peek at the baby!
@LimaD Sorry about the exhaustion. Pumpkin torte sounds delicious!
@ramy3 Sorry you still have to be on the meds. Were you on them the whole time with your other pregnancies? Also cranberry salsa sounds delicious. Putting that on my list of things to make for Christmas Eve since I cook a big dinner for my family then.
@stephaniesee Congrats on your baby boy! Have fun telling your family tomorrow!
@chaitealover Sorry about the headaches. I can understand the uproar over changing family traditions. My great aunt makes this awesome turkey gravy and I can only imagine the uproar if a different recipe was made.
@scubakate I'm glad you were able to hear the heartbeat and the movement. I know I'm thankful for all those who work jobs that cannot take the holiday off. I hope you have a quiet shift tomorrow.
@MichieU79 Sending lots of (((Hugs))) and T&Ps for your upcoming EDD. It's ok to be anxious and sad. I've always felt the lead up to the EDD to be the worst and the day itself not as bad. Is there something you can do to commemorate your loss. For my first last April I planted a rose bush. It's right next to my garage so I see it every time I come in and leave. I know it's winter, but maybe since it's Christmas time you could find a special ornament?
@mlbrook619 I'm glad you felt so reassured at your appointment. Enjoy your thanksgiving with all the fixings!
@branders74 Sorry you are so tired, but I'm glad you had a good appointment!
@robotpcr sorry you are still having some nausea and exhaustion, but at least you had a good appointment. Enjoy your fish tomorrow!
EDD: 15w3d
Gestation in Weeks/Fruit: navel orange
How are you feeling emotionally? Physically? Feeling much better on both accounts. See next question for explanation!
Any updates from last weeks check-in : Unfortunately, I got to work last Thursday and found I was bleeding a lot. I panicked, left work, and drove straight to the OB (I had called the triage nurse to have her alert my OB). I was convinced we were losing the other baby. Thankfully, all was well and the bleeding is/was likely coming from the lost twin. So while it was scary as hell, I'm now feeling better emotionally because I was able to see that everything was okay. I also heard the heartbeat again at my regular OB appointment on Monday.
Upcoming Appointments/Milestones: Anatomy Scan on December 22!
GTKY: Does your family do traditional or untraditional Thanksgiving food? What is your favorite? For those that don't celebrate is there a food you are craving right now? Definitely traditional! I can't wait to eat my weight in stuffing tomorrow!

EDD: 5/1/2015
Gestation in Weeks/Fruit: almost 18 weeks I think. I'm having a hard time remembering things these days!
How are you feeling emotionally? Physically? Emotionally? Doing okay. It's been a year since I had my last pregnancy which ended in an emergency surgery for an ectopic pregnancy. Thanksgiving was depressing last year so hopefully we can make new memories this year.
Physically? Waking up at 4AM? Not cool! I've been having a little back pain but that's from my scoliosis.
Any updates from last weeks check-in : Nope
Upcoming Appointments/Milestones: 3 weeks until our morphological scan! Woohoo!
GTKY: Does your family do traditional or untraditional Thanksgiving food? What is your favorite? For those that don't celebrate is there a food you are craving right now? Nothing really untraditional. My favorite thanksgiving food is broccoli cheese casserole and jelly cranberry sauce-no pieces!

Gestation in Weeks/Fruit: 13w5d
How are you feeling emotionally? Physically? Good on both ends. It helps that I can hear the hb regularly to keep my mind from freaking out. I'm coming up on my last loss milestone.
Any updates from last weeks check-in : nope
Upcoming Appointments/Milestones. I have an appt next Wednesday
GTKY: Does your family do traditional or untraditional Thanksgiving food? What is your favorite? For those that don't celebrate is there a food you are craving right now? I think our biggest constant that I've had at every thanksgiving is corn bread dressing and chicken and dumplings. This will be my first year in 40yrs to not have them. I'd kill for some dumplings right now. My aunt said she's save me a bowl of them for when I get back.
Gestation in Weeks/Fruit: 16 / Avacado
How are you feeling emotionally? Physically? Emotionally? Doing much better. Still pretty nervous and scared but so hopeful. Getting past my last pregnancys due date seems to have lifted some sort of weight. It's hard to expain.
Physically. I feel like a whale! I'm 5'4 and around 130lbs normally. I've only gained 3 lbs but the bloating is still insane. I feel like I'm 6 months pregnant.
Been having some mild pains. Think it's gas or constipation (sorry tmi)
Any updates from last weeks check-in : Nope
Upcoming Appointments/milestones
Next appt is Dec 2. Last loss occurred at 22 weeks so looking forward to getting past that point. (And it will be New Years )
GTKY: Does your family do traditional or untraditional Thanksgiving food? What is your favorite? For those that don't celebrate is there a food you are craving right now? I'm Canadian so thanksgiving was last month. Though we didn't celebrate cause we were traveling. We typically have my side of the family over for dinner at our place. I love cooking the traditional meal. I love having the left overs. Hot turkey sandwiches with gravy and stuffing!!! Yum! Might have to make stuffing this weekend just so I don't feel so left out.
Thanks @kate6214 for doing this again this week.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving day.
EDD: May 9
Gestational Age: 16 weeks, 6 days

Emotionally: So much better.... I feel like I'm starting to relax more. I do have my bad days from time to time but not nearly as much anxiety now.

Upcoming appointments: OB appointment on Dec. 5th, A/S is on Dec. 22.

How are you feeling emotionally? Physically? Emotionally I'm doing a little better. I heard the hb at my appointment today and baby is definitely growing. @SoyBoy I'm glad you are feeling well. Congrats on your little girl. Stuffing balls sound amazing!!!
@aimothy I'm glad you had a good appointment Monday and could hear the heartbeat. I'm sure all that bleeding is scary.
@AlexandriaPR I hope you made some new good Thanksgiving memories this year. sorry your back pain is keeping you up at night. M
@kaynix21 Congrats on announcing. It's such a big step!
@Pintobean39 Sending lots of positive T&Ps as you get past your last loss milestone. sorry you are missing some of your favorite foods. Hopefully your aunt was able to save some.
@lladymack passing milestones can be difficult, but usually the build up is the worst part. It's ok to be relieved as you pass them. There is nothing TMI about gas and constipation. We are all going through it. I've talked so much about my own poop this pregnancy I didn't know it was possible to think about I so much. I hope you feel better soon. The leftover sandwiches are my husband's favorite part of thanksgiving too. ,
@HalePop You have a great attitude! I'm glad you are feeling so good and getting in some exercise as well. That's awesome! I'm glad your appointment went well and that you got to be a happy fat kid on thanksgiving.
@vballgirl78 yay for no UTI and for an good heartbeat check. I'm glad you are starting to relax.
@GiantsFan627 Sorry you are still nauseous. It's exciting that you get to find out the sex so early! @CTri17 yay for a heartbeat and for comfy clothes. I don't know how I could go back to normal pants at this point. It sounds like getting out those clothes was a big step for you. Congrats
EDD:
Gestation in Weeks/Fruit: 17 wk 6 days. I think onion?
How are you feeling emotionally? Physically? Physically okay, except I had some horrible sciatica the other day. It seems better now, so hopefully that lasts.
Emotionally I'm feeling a bit nervous. I felt some flutters last week that were pretty obvious and frequent, and now not as much. I'm trying not to freak out since it's still early-ish, but still. Kinda sucks. I don't have an US for another 2 weeks.
Any updates from last weeks check-in: Nothing new. I haven't been on in a few weeks
Upcoming Appointments/Milestones: 20 wk US in two weeks, and I'm going to a new practice with a midwife in a few weeks
GTKY: Does your family do traditional or untraditional Thanksgiving food? What is your favorite? For those that don't celebrate is there a food you are craving right now? Traditional. My mom doesn't vary too much from the script.
I love her cornbread dressing and collard greens!
