AW: U/S today (everything is OK)

So after talking to my midwife and freaking out the past week we decided it would be best if I went in for an earlier ultrasound to rule out miscarriage. I had lost almost all symptoms five days ago and started cramping in a lower, more centralized area. I was freaking out to say the least.

After a few rounds of blood work and a pelvic exam we got to do the ultrasound. We opted for a transvaginal since I was only 6w2d. Turns out I am actually 7w6d due on July 9th. We got to see a very strong heartbeat (155 bpm) and got some good images. I'm not gonna lie. I cried like a fucking baby. It has been such an emotional week trying to convince myself I wasn't miscarrying so to see and hear that strong of a heartbeat and learn that I'm almost 2 weeks further along just killed me.

Thank you so much for all the prayers and kind words. It meant the world to me and I'm so happy that I get to stay.

I'll attach a U/S pic later this week when I get home.

ETA: There wasn't a clear reason why I stopped having symptoms. My doctor said I might be one of the few that doesn't experience symptoms but even at 8 weeks I'm not down for the count in the symptoms game, although I'm crossing my fingers
