Anyone here read romance novels?

I'm so bored. Just read "where did you go, Bernadette?" It was pretty good.

But I've always wanted to try out a romance novel. Maybe. Are they any good? Do they get you in the mood or are they cheesy and laughable?

Where should I even start or should I just not go there lol. I need something else for my kindle.

Re: Anyone here read romance novels?

  • I never have but I teach 9th grade Reading and they are ALL about the romance novels.  Kinda weird in my opinion, but as long as they are reading...

  • Hahahaha 9th grade!! That's hilarious, and weird.

I feel like they are going to be too much for me. Too much cheese. I could be wrong.
  • Bared to you - by Sylvia day. ( series if you like it)
Similar to 50 shades but with out the annoying parts. Super steamy, fun for a beach read.
  • @Radtechgirl05‌ I just finished reading all the plum series by Janet Evanovich. I'll check out the full series

You should look into Kristen Ashley books. They are fun, with romance. The series I started with was Rock Chicks.

I refer to it as chick lit, my husband refers to it as smut, lol. Some authors I enjoy are Abigail Storm, Julie James, Jill Shalvis, Shannon Stacy, Catherine Bybee and Rachel Gibson. Modern romance stories, with steamy scenes, I highly recommend! Also, I just signed up for Kindle Unlimited, it's like Netflix for my kindle :)

ETA: I tried reading 50 Shades and couldn't get through it!
