AW: Stupid flu

So DH had the flu two weeks ago. That was annoying because he couldn't help with the kids and I was worried about the rest of us getting sick. Well today DS tested positive for the flu. He's of course way worse at containing his germs and I am worried about DD and myself. Plus I am trying to conserve my leave for maternity leave and I really want to go home for Thanksgiving. Just WHY? We all had the flu shot and I've always been a big "fan" of the flu shot but it's not having a great year at our house.

Sorry your family has caught a bug! I had the flu a few weeks back and it was no fun.

There are many different strains of the flu, so you can catch a different strain from what you received the shot for. It sucks, but that's why you can still catch it.

I know about the different strains just hated we are 2/4 and now DD has a fever.

I had an OB appointment today and she called in the Tamiflu for me as a preventative measure.
