Ms meds

so I have been on ms meds for a few weeks now. Due to severe ms. I asked my dr when do I know when I should get off of them. She said at 14 weeks. I am 13 weeks and 3 days and last night I decided I wanted to get off of them over the weekend so If I felt like crap I wouldn't be working. I woke up right now mentally thinkng about it. I'm hoping I will be ok all day, but at the same time I feel like I might mentally mess it up. That maybe I'll be ok but since I'm thinking about it I'll get sick. If I only get sick once today that will be fine. It's the 4..5 times can't eat, drink or leave the house part im scared of.Anyone have experience with getting off ms meds? How did you know when to get off?

Re: Ms meds

  • I didn't get off of Zofran and Phenergan with my last pregnancy until 32 weeks when unisom and b6 started to help. Even then I still had to take it every now and again. Don't force yourself off just because you dr said you SHOULD feel better at a certain point.

  • I'm 16 weeks and still taking mine. I tried to stop them about a week ago and it was a big mistake.

  • There is no time limit and your doctor knows this! She was probably just trying to appease you by giving you a date to work towards but your body is going to do what it wants. You can't control it. I'm still on my meds and see no end in sight and don't want to. I have to be well for the baby to be well :)
