Ladies, any favorite, easy and transportable snacks that are your current go-tos?
I find that eating every couple of hours keeps nausea at bay and helps me avoid heartburn. Unfortunately, I can't justify the magnitude of my cheez-it obsession, and variety is the spice of life.
What do you find yourself snacking on these days? I'm looking for inspiration!
Sincerely,
Pregnant and Obsessed with Cheez-its, Popcorn and Sabra's Garlic Hummus
Seriously... I eat a lot of fruit (bananas, clementines, grapes are pretty portable); also I love raw food bars (Whole foods) and nuts. And Greek yogurt (plain) with honey and flax seeds. String cheese.
I think hummus is healthy, especially if you're dipping veggies into it. I think clementines sound like a tasty idea.
Hummus (I eat it on veggies, crackers, sandwiches...) Granola bars (not super healthy though because they're usually full of sugar) Apples Banana chips Wasabi peas (high in sodium though) Almonds Yogurt
Rice cakes with peanut butter on them (the sweetened Quaker ones), Greek yogurt, apple slices with peanut butter, celery with cream cheese, and I guess chips and guac aren't that portable but they're an easy healthy snack!
Oh man, I have been craving clementines! We don't get them where I live. We don't get much good fruit at all actually! But I have been eating a lot of peanut butter and ezekiel bread (extra protein) and bananas are my go to. I'm liking these ideas though, I was getting bored with my options. Cheese sticks are now on my shopping list!
Now I want guacamole, peanut butter crackers and clementines. And more hummus, especially if it's loaded with garlic. Thanks for the suggestions ladies, these should help me out of my rut!
Bananas, almonds & raisins, granola bars, green apples, and soy decaf pumpkin spice lattes (ok fine that last one might not be the healthiest but I love them).
Clementines, apples, almonds, dried apricots, hard boiled eggs, cheese and crackers, chocolate protein shakes(Odwalla has a good one if you're not worried about sugar too much) smart pop popcorn, toast with nutritional yeast or avocado, pita wrap with hummus and shredded veggies.
Apples with peanut butter or a banana with peanut butter. Hard boiled eggs and if you like pop corn, Boom Chicka Pop is really good and has natural ingredients. Costco sells huge bags of it as well as the veggie dippin chips if you are looking for a chip. They are awesome with salsa or guacamole. I serve them all the time and people love it.

I love Boom Chicka Pop! That stuff is delicious. I'll look for the veggie chips.
