So I was tossing around Kara in honor of my sister Karen. I also thought of Vivian as a middle name to honor my mother, as well as Leanne to honor my uncle.
Well, Olivia and Emma have been on my name list as well but they don't have any significant meaning. I just really like the names.
The name that is on top of my list is now Olivia Lorraine. My grandmother (Lorraine) has been diagnosed with lung cancer and I want to honor her. She is very, very special to me.
I know I need to go with a name that I love, regardless of who she is named after.
Do any other names that I mentioned go better with Lorraine?

I think Kara, Olivia, and Emma all go fine with Lorraine. Leeann doesn't.
It depends on your last name. I would check how the first and last feels to you and the full name together. This should knock one or two of the choices out. It's fine to go into the birth with a few choices and decide after she's here.
I like Kara (with the middle name Lorraine) out of all of the names that you mentioned because it is the least popular. My cousin has a Madison Lorraine (also named after my cousin's grandmother), but Madison is just as popular as Emma and Olivia.
Man, the first thing I could think of, is you REALLY want to honor someone! I think I'd go with Kara, personally. I think it's atypical and it means something to you. Lorraine flows well with it and you get 2 'honors' in one name
