extra chronic heamorrage

I had a major bleed at 7 weeks and was advised I had and 7 cm ech.....and 8 weeks the dimensions completely changed. ...
10 weeks and tend it measured less than 1cm and and tenderer having more bleeds last week confirmed no more heamorrage.
I have been for my 12 week scan today and they have confirmed an 8.6cm ech.???
How does this happen ?
Did the sonographer get it wrong over the past few weeks ?
Feeling very confused and tenderer nd worried again! !!!!!
