i'm team sprinkles are delicious, but i voted "IDGAF" because i like my doughnuts doughy (they don't even have to be round, or have a hole in the middle) and that's about it.  i'll take them however they come!

Yes, some are exactly that.  But others are sugary little bars of yes!  It's the sugar.  I love it.  But not as much as the coffees.  All the coffees with all the donuts.  Nom nom!

I like cream-filled donuts (especially custard-filled). I don't care if there's sprinkles on top or not as long as there's custard.

I don't mind THESE kind of sprinkles...its the long waxy nasty one (I think some of you call them jimmies?) that I can't stand.  

JIMMIES FTW!!!  best on soft-serve ice cream, but good on doughnuts too.

How do you get sprinkles to stay on sugar cookies without frosting? Is this possible? It's so disappointing at Christmas when the sprinkles just roll all over the place. Can you tell I don't bake?

Confession: a long time ago, I really wanted candy but we didn't have any, so I ate an entire jar of sprinkles. Unfortunately, this forever ruined sprinkles for me. So, so gross.

But I will still eat any donut or bowl of ice cream that is in front me. Sprinkles or no sprinkles. Like @BookitBoo‌, I don't discriminate yo!

I'm gonna go a step further and say i don't even like frosted donuts. I might not turn it down, but I'd never pick it. Plain or glazed, all the way.

Are you putting them on before you bake them? I usually put them on prior to baking if I'm not frosting them. You can press the sprinkles into the cookie or roll the cookie in some decorative sugar/sprinkles before putting them on the baking sheet. If you do it afterwards (and don't plan on frosting) when the cookies have cooled, you can also try brushing a bit of egg wash and a bit of water on and then immediately add the sprinkles. 

I always assumed they'd burn if I put them on before. I swear I'm not an idiot. But I am going to try rolling the cookies in the sprinkles prior to baking. I've always tried to make designs and stuff, but maybe I am obviously a little too optimistic regarding my skills! Haaaaa! Thanks!

You aren't an idiot! Just roll the dough into balls and then roll those balls of dough in some sprinkles and bake! Yummm!

It totally depends on the type or doughnut on wether it should have sprinkles or not...but I don't descriminate.

Ok so those sprinkles are good and they are the best thing about Christmas tree little debbies! But when I think sprinkles I think about the traditional chalky ones...And Id definately prefer my donut with a coffee rather than sprinkles

So there's a box of donuts, a couple have sprinkles and many don't. I won't grab the sprinkle one... Now if there are only sprinkle donuts left and I seriously wanted one, I'd eat it. I like jimmys but will skip them on a donut. Give me a maple bar.... AAnd then my gut would pay for it. Instead I will eat them in my dreams. Sigh...

:-) me either! DH always brings me a cherry coke (my favorite) and a candy bar if he goes to the store on the way home from work, but the other day he handed me a coke and box of Christmas cakes! He said he thought I needed more than just a candy bar lol
