…is THE worst. I spent way too much time at work tonight doing a variation of the potty dance trying to get the feeling to go away. Pretty sure all my co-workers think I'm insane. Has anyone else been experiencing this yet??
It's. The. Worst. I read on here that someone described it as feeling like the baby was hacking at the cervix with an ice pick. And that's exactly what it feels like. I had it like all day a few days ago. Nothing made it go away. Yet another oh-so-fun pregnancy perk.

So far it goes away in a few minutes for me but it sorta takes my breath away. Of course no one knows what I'm feeling- I try to act normal. Sometimes sitting and leaning back a bit can help. Love the potty dance image- just trying to get baby to go somewhere else!!
I had it on and off for about 24 hours last week. I'm 14 weeks and I tell you what would have rather been in labor because then at least I knew when it would end!! It's very painful, I didn't try the potty face though. (May have to give that a go I tried squats, lunges ANYTHING for relief. I hope it stays away for a while!
I had it with my son but not this early on. I had it when the baby was bigger and it felt like he was stomping on my crotch!! Pain would stop me dead in my tracks.
Wait! Is this what happened to me today??? I couldn't explain it to my coworker but she have me this really crazy look when I yelped lol it was exactly like a shock like right on my pelvic bone...so this a thing? It's going to happen again????!
Yes I had this one night at about 9 weeks, it woke me up out of dead sleep. Then I had it again today, 13w3d, in the office, it feels like a knife stabbing you in your cervix. It only lasts for a few seconds and then disappears, but it is painful.

Yes… it most likely will happen again. It's from the way the baby is positioned in the uterus (from what I've gathered) and usually gets worse later on in pregnancy. Oh the joys!
Thanks for the responses everyone. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one experiencing this already.I guess next time this happens while I'm at work I'll have to try doing squats instead of the potty dance…
I am 16w 3 days. I have normally felt it at the end when my cervix was thinning. But this. This has been going on for over a week for me and it feels to me like baby has grown claws and is slowly digging it's way out... not pleasant and painful as all heck
