FET without Lupron?

Has anyone done a FET without Lupron? I will just be on estrogen and then progesterone. Will the estrogen prevent me from ovulating? Sorry, the FET stuff is new to me. I am still trying to wrap my head around it. Thanks

I did a similar FET protocol with my donor embryo FET last spring.  I started estrace the first day of my period (started at a lower dose and worked my way up to a higher dose) and went in for a lining check and blood work on CD 13, my lining looked good so I started PIO that night and did our transfer 5 days later.

I WISH I was doing it without lupron. I'm so over this crappy stuff. I've been on lupron for ~4 wks already for FET 12/8. I don't think the estrace prevents you from ovulating, but just supplements your normal estrogen production. GL!!

This is what I did last FET and this one. I thought I read the estrogen stops you from ovulating but for the life of me I don't remember what.

This is my first FET and I am only using del estrogen and pio.

Thanks ladies! I am happy to see this protocol is fairly common...I was a little worried.
