  • I was told saline spray and afrin. But not to use the afrin for more than 3 days. Also robotussin dm non drowsy also sudafed.

Afrin helped me but gave me a migraine
  • I just had the same thing last week. I found musinex to help the most. It helped with the non stop runny nose.  I ended up having strep and an ear infection as well though.  Hope you feel better!
  • Saline spray, warm shower, steam up the bathroom and just breathe, peppermint oil (not directly on the skin unless you mix with a couple drops of olive oil) to help you breathe a little better (maybe touch it to your sinus area or put a couple drops in a diffuser). Also, I found massage helps. A circular motion over my sinuses, and nose.

I had a terrible sinus infection 2 weeks ago, I ended up going to the doctor because it was so bad I was unable to sleep. They had to put me on an antibiotic, none of the OTC medicines worked me me. Flonase helped a lot too.
  • The midwife told me I could use vicks for sleeping so that has helped.
