Uterine Fibroid! Anyone else?

I'm just curious if anyone else has a fibroid. If so, are you having any side effects? I didn't know I had one until it was discovered on my ultrasound. In the past week I've had a lot of back pain and lower abdominal pain. It's been narrowed down to constipation, round ligament pain and the fibroid. I'm 14 weeks so of course pain scares me!

I haves few small ones picked up on a high level ultrasound I had during repeat loss testing. My doc said they were not a cause for concern getting or staying pregnant though. I haven't had any side effects.

I had one with my first pregnancy....drove me crazy, as I got bigger so did it. I called it my unicorn horn because it was sticking out on top of my baby bump...2 obs told me it was "feet"...it wasn't until after I delivered and said..."ummm...those feet are still in there" that they acknowledged it was a fibroid...it shrunk on it's own after delivery...and I'm hoping does not return, it was very uncomfortable.

My dr says there is a possibility I have one but that its not big enough to be concerned with. She said it shoulsnt adversely effect the pregnancy, but if it becomes larger, I could have severe pain.

I have multiple fibroids and they haven't caused me any problems. Mine are all pretty small so my OB was not concerned about the fibroids complicating my pregnancy. My guess is you're probably experiencing just normal pains from the uterus stretching but you should check with your OB if it is bothering you.
