Twin Type (Identical/Fraternal/etc): di/di

 

Symptoms: bloating, acne, fatigue is easing up!

Appointment AW: Heard both babies last week. One HB was 140 and the other 160. One was also hanging out high and one low so it took the OB a bit to find!

Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: Getting really anxious for the anatomy scan!! I am ready to finish working on rooms while I still have the energy.

QOTW: What is your favorite season? Fall! I love football and the transition from warm to cooler

Symptoms: My nausea and exhaustion are still present but getting better!

Appointment AW: Heard both babies' heartbeats at my appointment yesterday. Counting down to our anatomy scan on 12/23!

Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: I want to be able to stay up and moving past 6:30-7:00pm!!! Also, I want to stop feeling so sick!

Symptoms: Exhausted, bloated

Appointment AW: Had my NT scan yesterday. I was so nervous because during my last pregnancy we got very bad news at my NT scan, but this time everything went perfectly! We also got my maternit21 test results back yesterday, everything looked great and we know one of the twins is a boy!

Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: I hate waking up at 4am to pee and then can't get back to sleep. It's so frustrating!

QOTW: What is your favorite season and why? I love the spring and summer because I love the warm weather but I love Thanksgiving and Christmas so I guess they all have their perks

Symptoms: lil bloat along w a lil bump, hungry

Appointment AW: nothing till the 17th

Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns:ughhh this next week needs to fly so i can see my babies on the 17th i hate the in between apts i start to get worried

QOTW: What is your favorite season and why? i do love fall, hoodie and uggs weather, perfect cuddling weather too

@sugar4bri - For me, my symptoms were not any different than that of DD. The only difference is in my bloat and what I'm going to go ahead and call bump since my uterus is already above the belly button. I was literally outgrowing pants on a weekly basis. Things that fit one week wouldn't fit the next. It made sense after finding out it was twins although I was assuming it was just from being the second pregnancy. Each week everything is a little tighter. I definitely compare to about 20 weeks with DD right now. Otherwise I would have no inclination that it's more accelerated.

Appointment: ultrasound tomorrow (the 12th)
I've been nervous about some spotting etc. But trying not to freak myself out. First pregnancy so it's all new. I don't know anyone with twins so this is nice.
Favorite season: spring

Week/Fruits: 11/limes

Twin Type (Identical/Fraternal/etc): Di/Di

Symptoms: Just when I think the nausea is going away, it comes back! But at least I get some periods of slight relief. Second tri is in sight! I am also already wearing maternity pants.

Appointment AW: I had an ultrasound last week and everything looked good! They also drew blood for Harmony, so I am eagerly awaiting the results. I have an NT scan next week Thursday. Between IF and my OB, I think two weeks is the longest I've gone without an ultrasound since like, May...haha.

Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: None really. Just sick of feeling sick.

QOTW: What is your favorite season and why? Summer! Love the warm weather, and I work a LOT less. Not entirely off, but everything I do in the summer is by choice and I get paid hourly for it.

Weeks/Fruit 15 1/2 orange.
Type - we won't know until we know sexes or possibly at birth. Assuming fraternal but our doc said no way to know 100% until then.

Symptoms- energy level is better but morning sickness ugh. It's not all day now but it's still everyday and when it hits it's bad.

Appointment AW- last week we had a scare. I stood up and all the sudden felt a gush. Went to bathroom and it was blood. Went to ER. Had blood work and ultrasound and both babies were perfect size great heartbeats and cervix still closed. Went to OBGYN two days later and everything still fine. Doctors had no real explanations except to tell me it happens. Took it easy for a few days. Go back in tomorrow morning (regular 16 week apt) and can't wait to just see they are still doing fine. I'll feel better then. Should have anatomy scan in about 4 weeks but we are going to try and hold pout finding sex until Christmas Day

QOTW- love summer but also love Christmas so can't wait for winter to arrive here.

Week/Fruits: 11 weeks/ Limes

Twin Type (Identical/Fraternal/etc):
They are di/di. My doctor said fraternal but I was reading on the multiples board and other websites fraternal twins have separate corpus luteum cyst but on my first ultrasound there was only one CLC, so now I wonder if they identical.

Symptoms: fatigue, vomiting, muscle cramps. The nausea actually stopped I am still vomiting I am not constantly nauseated.

Appointment AW: I seen my OB/GYN on Thursday. He was concerned about weight loss. I left the appointment crying.

On Friday I seen the MFM, he did my NT Scan said both babies looked great. We also had our first high risk appointment orientation with him. He will put me on modified bed rest from week 24-30, I will still be able to do drop off and pick up of the older boys but not much more than that. He wants me resting or in bed for at least 18 hours, including bed time. He said the risk of preterm labor is too much of a risk those 6 weeks.

We finally got ultrasound pictures. Baby B is on top and Baby A is on the bottom. Baby B is measuring 2 days ahead of my EDD and Baby A is right on track with my EDD.

Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: 6 weeks of bed rest scares the crap out of me.

I feel like I started showing around 11 weeks (at least looking back at my pics I do). And now, last week, sciatica and back/hip pain started. I don't want to seem like I'm complaining, especially since we still have a long ways to go, but this is really starting to suck for me lol.

This is how it has been for me. EVERYTHING has happened sooner than any of my other pregnancies. I am the same size I was at 20 weeks last pregnancy at 11/12 weeks and loosing 18 pounds.
