Re: most embaressing place you have had morning sickness ??

  • we live on the third floor and I felt it coming so I knew I wasn't going to make it upstairs so I started puking right by the stairs. The first floor neighbor came out and asked my husband, who was right there waiting for me, if I everything was ok because he heard throwing up. My husband was like yeah she is fine. I was so embarrassed though because it was a Saturday night and I just knew they were like oh crazy drunk party girl, cant hold down her alcohol. LOL

  • The faculty bathroom at the high school where I teach.  Luckily the teacher across the hall from me had her planning period so she came and watched my class while I puked in the bathroom.  Nobody at school knows I'm pregnant yet so I just made up "the flu" and went home.  It was pretty miserable...especially because after puking my eyes are all red and watery and all the congestion I could possibly have is right there in my nose.  So I look like I've been bawling and I can't breathe.  My students were a little freaked out.

  • Last pregnancy it was a Tuesday morning in a garbage can in the middle of Penn Station in NYC. I don't think it looked too odd considering the crazies that frequent Penn. However it was embarassing for me.

This time around it was when I was 5 weeks and at a junior league convention. I almost passed out and then puked in front of a group of 500 women. It was great.

  • While driving down the highway.
  • During my first pregnancy I had some real doozies.

I had HG until 16 weeks, severe nausea until the baby was born so I puked constantly.  Near the end I was so big I peed every time I puked.

Thanksgiving Day, on the way to lunch with my family.. I puked in a waffle house, loudly, and wet my pants completely!   So embarrassing!
  • Actually just this morning at Ihop.

  • With my last pregnancy I worked in the Admissions office of a college. They were renovating our office and we were in a temporary workspace in which the only nearby bathroom was a girls or guys room (you lock the door when in use). I always carried a trash can with me when I got sick just in case. Well the one time I got sick and the door was locked, my only option was to get sick right there in the trash can in the hall...right as class was getting out...with a classroom door right in front of me. I got sooooo many weird looks and odd stares. VERY awkward.

My weirdest morning sickness moment was between that and the time I puked into a lunch box while stuck in traffic in a moving vehicle...not a pleasant ride home.
  • I haven't barfed as much this pregnancy but when I was preggo with my son I barfed in the middle of an isle at auto zone.

No sickness with this pregnancy, but with my son I threw up on the sidewalk in my neighborhood while walking the dog. Fun!
This was my worst so far! Last week I puked 3 times walking up my street why walking my dog. Then on top of my outside trash can because I couldn't get the lid open in time. Saturday night I was at a party at my neighbors and I had to run home twice to puke. Ugh

  • I work for the court system and Thursdays are always our busy day with juvenile court in the afternoon.  Only one case gets called in at a time for confidentiality reasons and for some reason Thursdays are always a bad day for me.  The bathroom is right off the waiting room for court so I know everyone can hear me puking and I always come our with red, watery eyes.  I have gotten some weird looks but so far no one has actually said anything.  Very embarassing though.

  • I've been lucky to always puke at home or in the private bathroom at work...but I did feel bad at my birthday dinner.  A few people ordered fish, and I had to leave the table to eat my dinner outside.  I couldn't handle the smells.  At least DH came out with me, but I was embarrassed my friends tried to have a dinner for me and I was barely there.

  • It's also embarrassing when my almost three year old son tells everyone he meets "Mama is sick and then she takes a nap"

It sounds like I'm a drunk that barfs and then passes out lol.
  • On the side of the highway on the way to work. Worst part was I got some on my pants and had to walk around all day with pukey pants.
  • At the Chick Fil A drive thru in my lap as the lady opened the window to take my payment.  She looked horrified...as I was puking I was mumbling it's ok I am just pregnant.  I won't be going back there for a while lol!  So embarrassing!!
  • While sitting in a packed krystals eating breakfast with my husband freaking out say "where is a toilet where is a toilet" i will never return to that krystals ever again lol
  • Side of the road, at construction (which has been going on for several weeks), almost daily. My 2yo has since learned to get on her hands and knees and "gag" and then spit, followed by "I sick, I need bed" Its cute, but not that cute...

  • Oh my, these stories are funny and sad at the same time.

I've been lucky and so far the worst has been on the side of the highway, or in a parking lot planter. Every time I puke at work, I've been lucky and have the bathroom to myself.
  • I had to stop at the gas station and throw up in the bathrooms right after I dropped the kids off. I've had DH pull over on the side of he highway. The side of my house because u couldn't make it in.

  • Went to breakfast with my husband and as we were checking in I had to run outside and throw up in the parking lot. I'm sure people entering the restaurant were a little nervous!
  • The teacher's lounge this morning. Not pretty. X_X
  • I was swimming laps and it hit me. Luckily I was able to get to the locker room first. As I'm still dealing with MS at 15 weeks I have yet to return to the pool for fear that next time I won't make it out.
  • We have a super strict HOA with lots of HOA obsessed little old lady busybodies running around reporting things to the HOA manager. I'm sure they were horrified when they saw me puking in the grass of the common area right outside our house. (But I found it kind of amusing.)

The worst time for me was when I puked in the car in a grocery bag only to realize the bag had a huge hole in the bottom and I got barf all over myself and the car.

  • About a month ago I was in Tennessee on a military base for a ceremony honoring my uncle who died in Vietnam. The ceremony was in a stand-alone building and about halfway through I had to jump out of my seat (in the first row) and barely made it outside before I started wretching. About 50+ army officials and my entire family heard everything. It was lovely.
  • In a cab in Germany. Luckily I had an airline puke bag in my purse. Poor driver didn't speak English so I couldn't get him to pull over. I just patted my belly and said baby and he seemed to understand.
