Baby Names

Too matchy sibset

I have a Carter and Benjamin currently. We are trying to debate boy names for #3. DH likes Alexander. Is it strange to have C,B,A names? I like names that are gender specific and not too unusual. Currently, that is the only name DH and I can agree on.

Re: Too matchy sibset

  • I wouldn't really worry about the ABC thing, I don't think that's even an issue. Good names!
  • You're overthinking.

  • No.... It's not weird. Alexander is great.
  • I have two brothers and our first names begin with A, B, and C. I'm pretty sure my mom and I are the only two to ever notice. Alexander is a great name!
  • Not weird at all, Alexander is great.

  • As a teacher who has had many sibsets in successive years, having a pattern like that actually makes it easier to learn names and to avoid mixing them up with their siblings!
  • It would have been a long time before I noticed that.

  • Thanks ladies. I thought it was no big deal, but my sister said we'd be the "ABC" family.
