I had my 32 week ultrasound today at my maternal fetal medicine office and the tech told me that my placenta is still low-lying - about 1 cm away from the cervix. I see my regular OB on Wednesday to talk about what this means if it doesn't budge as baby continues to grow in the next few weeks. I know the statistics are favorable for this resolving itself, but I'm not sure how likely that is this late in the game. Is anyone else in the same boat as me? I'd really like to avoid a C-section at all costs if possible :-/
Re: Ugh....my placenta is still low lying at 32 weeks!
Even if someone else had a low laying placenta they likely wouldn't be in the "same boat" as you since each doctor and pregnancy has different nuances.
