  • Adding Sue, Ann, or Lynn to anything will country it up. For example, my name is Amanda. Very 80's. My middle name is Sue automatically country. My husbands cousins name is Lauren and her middle name is Ann. Automatically sounds country. You're welcome.

  • Our top girl names are Ruby Jean (using the dn) and either Charlotte or Georgia Faye. I didn't think of RJ as "country" but it does seem more cutesy, where CF/GF read as more classically Southern.

    Savannah
    Sienna
    Lila

Combined with a middle name like Grace (Bible Belt ya'll), Rose, or Rae sounds rustic/country :)

I think Sienna Rose sounds quite lovely :)
  • My girl names are Maisie and Lola. My current daughter is Hallie. We go for names with a little southern charm. :) Other names on the list were Annabel, Willow, and I can't remember the rest... All vetoed by my hubby.

  • Clarabelle. I watch too much Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
  • I think your key to finding a name with this feel would be to find very feminine sounding names.

Think of a setting you consider rustic...I always think burlap, lace, mason jars and gorgeous flowers. Pick a name that fits the theme :)
  • If we had a girl I wanted to name her Cadance.

I love older names. Not sure if they are rustic/country.

    Hannah
    Hattie
    Adison
    Charlotte
    Mabel
I think that Cadance is an awesome name. I may be biased though. :)
  • My DD is Carly and Shelby was on our short list for her. I'm so bad with names and dread trying to name this baby.

    Burlap Sue, I love it.

Literally?? I love it!! Burly Sue for short :)
  • Lydia or Lydianne Grace
    Autumn Rose
    Eleanor (Ellie)
    Katie
    Susanna
    Sophia
    Ruth
    Esther
    Shirley
    Claudia
    Sylvia

I'm having twins, and I'm having a hard time deciding too <3 If it's 2 girls, which I really believe it is, we'll probably honor the grandmas, Lydia (my mom) and Shirley (my mother-in-law). Not sure though, I like so many others too. And then what about middle names? Maybe Rose and Ruth. I don't know :) Hope my rambling helps :)
  • My baby girl is Lilly Grace :)
  • Naomi Anything with Belle as a middle name :)
  • My name is Ashley Ann. Pretty country. My dd will be Betty Ann. My great grandma's name was (no joke) Ruby Roper and she grew up on a cattle ranch. We're country at heart here.
  • My DD name is Samantha May and mine is Amber May my moms is Anita May and my sisters are April Lavon and Annamarie Grace. All of which I think have a rustic/country feel. if I have another daughter we are pretty set on Annabelle .. maybe also Savannah, Isabelle, Holly, Hattie, Kit, Maddie or Madaline, Ginger? I know there's more good luck (:

Not literally, but whatever floats your boat? Though your kid is certain to be either a surfer or a snowboarder with a name like Burly Sue.
Surfer or snowboarder seems optimistic. I'm thinking a name like Burly Sue sounds more with a lumberjack.... image
    OMFG!!
  • Savannah Dawn
    Hazel
    Bobbi
    Billie
    Scarlet
    Bobetta
    Jessie
    Emma

And any combination with Sue, Ann, Mae/May, Lynn, Leigh/Lee, Rae, Jo...

I'm not ashamed to admit Mae is in the running, as that was my grandmother middle name (Ida Mae)
