Daycare recommendations in North Portland?

Does anyone have any daycare recommendations for North Portland?  Also, how far in advance should we make a decision?

Both are spendy. We go to Grandma's Place, which is right by the Rose Quarter. Many places book out almost a year in advance, so you should call as soon as you have an idea of timing.
