Went to my routine OB appointments this morning and they found that my blood pressure has skyrocketed since last time and I have protein in my urine. So y'all know what that means. >_< I'm kind of in shock because while I have felt kind of off lately, I didn't see this coming.
They are still monitoring me for 24 hours to be sure before they talk about inductions and other scary things. I'm praying this BP goes down and urine clears up (doing a 24hr catch) so baby boy can cook as long as possible. Thoughts and prayers always appreciated!
*UPDATE* WOOOO, I'm going home! My blood pressure has slowly dropped down over the last few hours and the last few were at about 140/85, just below the borderline, so they think it's safe for me to leave and complete the urine catch myself. I'm on pseudo-bed rest for the day until I see my OB again tomorrow. I'm still being watched and I've been instructed to come back if I get a headache, blurry vision, pains, etc. But oh thank everything baby Cannoli gets to hang out for a while longer! Sooooo relieved.
Thank you for all the love and prayers, ladies! It means a lot!
*UPDATE #2* I actually got the urine test back yesterday and just blanked out on telling you all about it. It was borderline, much like my blood pressure but my doctor thinks I'm okay to just go about life as normal and call/go in if anything changes. Since I'm already on once a week visits, they should be able to catch if things get worse anytime soon. I'm really glad my doctor is not pushing for induction anytime soon because I do not feel ready for it yet.
Thanks again for all the love ladies! We are due next month! YAY!

T&P to you and LO. Hope you can keep him cooking, but if you need to go, you need to go.
FWIW, my good friend had pre-e and IUGR with her younger son, and he was born at 35 weeks. He's now 14 and as rascly as they come. Sending good vibes your way, and keep us updated if you can.
Thank god for these regular OB check ups. I guess they have their reasons for so many visits. I'm sorry you're going through this. But good thing everything was caught when you were still feeling relatively well. T&P with you, chica. Relax a bit and know that you're where you need to be to do the best for you and baby Cannoli.

Oh no! I hope your BP goes down soon and the babes can stay in a little longer. It sounds like you're getting good care though. My thoughts and prayers are with you for positive outcomes!
Sorry you're having a hard time! I hope things resolve and LO can cook for a few more weeks. Try to relax though. As others have mentioned, 35w isn't too bad. Its not ideal, but your son would be just fine!
