The Eggnog Latte will ONLY be available in the Pacific Northwest, and the Gingerbread Latte will be available everywhere EXCEPT the Pacific Northwest. We are also coming out with a new drink called the Chestnut Praline Latte... and of course we will have the Peppermint Mocha (which we have year round). The soft launch for these drinks (at least in my region) is November first...so everyone will probably have these by the end of the first week of November?

Because everyone complained the eggnog latte & the gingerbread latte will be available everywhere!!! So every store will have the peppermint mocha, eggnog latte, gingerbread latte, caramel brûlée latte, and the chestnut praline latte! The shipment of ingredients to your local Starbucks for these drinks varies based on region...so just keep checking until we have it.

It's pretty good, I'm personally more of a peppermint mocha person. It tastes funky with soy milk (which is all I can drink) so it's just not my favorite. THE SPICED WHIPPED CREAM WE HAVE TO MAKE FOR IT IS EVIL (though delicious). @dreemkin84

Yeah, they change the gingerbread every year so I definitely recommend giving it a shot. I'm excited for the chestnut praline too!

Also, an FYI for those who might not know (thanks for reminding me @elephantsonpatrol ) if you find a drink to be too sweet, you can reduce the pumps of syrup in your drink.
So, if it's a drink ( like the salted caramel mocha) that is made up of a couple different syrups, we do equal/full pumps of syrups, NOT half & half...so a grande salted caramel mocha would get four pumps of mocha & four pumps of toffee nut (8 total pumps of syrup) ... You have to ask for the barista to split the difference (or two & two pumps of syrup).

It's basically just what we call "the grasshopper" off our "secret menu" (which isn't technically a real thing because we aren't trained on it & is a super sensitive subject with the majority of baristas I have met). From what I understand, it's basically a mint chocolate chip frappucchino. How we make it is a green tea frappucchino base, peppermint & chocolate chips. I heard something about white mocha being thrown in there? I don't know, because we advertise it after two & I never work past 12:30, so I didn't pay my full attention to that after I heard "it's the grasshopper" @krysmill

That drink has to be so sweet. I have tried one before but not with the white mocha. Just sounds like a lot of calories to me. I wonder if we got it off the secret menu
@foxslaw I am so glad you started this thread bc I have a burning question for you-I don't do dairy and try to stay away from soy. I was trying the coconut milk when they first started that but it bothered my stomach. So, if a reg came in with their own almond milk, would you be willing to make their drink with it?? I love my lattes but wish they carried almond milk any word on if they might be thinking of carrying it in the future? Can't wait for the holiday flavors!!

Bloody hell, I don't think I'm north enough to be in the pacific northwest. I love eggnog lattes. Good to know ahead of time, crying because something was taken off the menu is embarrassing (I had a grilled cheese incident when I first got pregnant)
I'm Midwest and last year we had both! Not sure why they choose who's gets and who doesn't get!
We had both too last year, i'm pretty sure it's just a new thing they are implementing this year. I'm assuming they looked at popularity based on region! We rarely sold eggnog lattes last year!
