I'd love some Frye boots that fit my giant calves. That would be awesome. Other than that, I need some real boots that can be worn in snow and ice in case of quick trips to NYC this winter for DD. I don't have anything suitable and haven't gotten away with it the last couple of winter trips there amazingly but I'm nervous we'll have like a weeks notice of an audition this year and I'll need appropriate gear ready!
@notkateanymore Before I even got past the OP I thought "Frye boots"....every time I search on zappos or 6pm.com I always love the Frye boots, realize they are frye and cost WAY too much and get sad because nothing else seems to be good enough.
@notkateanymore have you heard of duo.com? They have a ton of high quality wide calf boots. I was looking on there a few weeks ago. (Then realized I don't have $300 to spend).
Sorel boots for the winter! I love them and think they are super cute. I got a black pair with red laces last year for Christmas from the hubs and it was perfect for the polar vortex. They are warm and water proof and look great with thick leggings or skinny jeans.
Now I'm eyeing a pair of the sorel wedges for a dressier winter boot look as I'll actually be going out this winter seeing as I no longer have a newborn!
I'd like to find a new sweater dress or two. I love wearing those with tights and boots, but none of my older ones look quite right in my hip area now. Any recommendations?
Can someone help me with jeans? I've convinced myself that I am too big for skinny jeans (I'm a 8 or a 10) but I really, really want to wear knee high boots with leggings or jeans.
@thesportsgal you're not too big for them if you're an 8 or 10....But if you're going to be wearing them with boots , you do need something from fitting. American Eagle has a good pair of jeggings. Not thin like a legging but look like a jean. Not super tight around the ankle too so if you take your boot off they will give your legs some balance (since u don't like skinny jean).
I bought Frye boots about 10 years ago, and they still look almost new. If you really love them, you're going to be able to wear them/keep them a long time. Now that I'm in Cowtown, I can dust those suckers off!
@thesportsgal I'm the same size. I only wear skinny jeans if I have on boots and a long blouse or sweater. I love the Gap jeggings-- Gap sends out 40% off all the time if you sign up for emails.

Yes I posted the website a couple of weeks ago. I'm going to order some soon. DH says he's gets a new phone before my boots.

Oops. Missed where you posted that. I found it in a magazine a couple weeks back.
Re: Fashion Monday!
Any suggestions??
