XP from TTCAL: GTKY: 10 simple pleasures

Hi ladies. Since I've gone through all my losses, with my recent BFN I decided one evening to focus only on the little things that make me happy and it went over well on TTCAL that I thought you ladies can also appreciate a moment or so to reflect on the little things outside of the IF craziness that make you feel happy. So here is the post:

I'm not sure if this has been done. I have simple pleasures in life that replenish my soul and I thought it would be great to see what really strikes other people's core.

Here are the things that touch my soul:

Hot lemon water
Willow trees
Dawn
Warm blankets
Cold damp weather
Kisses on the back of my neck
Soft gentle kisses on my lips
Long walks
The sound of rain on a tin roof
The quietness of freshly fallen snow

    May 2014 - IUI (Follistim) = BFP! Ectopic. Surgery June 2014.
    August/Sept 2014 - IVF #1. BFP! Chemical Pregnancy.
    November 2014 - IVF #2; ER only - PGS testing 3 Frosties.
    December 2014 - FET #1 - Beta on 12/17!  BFP  *It's TWINS*

    Freshly washed sheets are one of my favorite things!

    Endometrioma removed from left ovary 4/'09 
    Started TTC Aug. 2012 
    BFP Jan. '13 - (no heartbeat at 8w appointment) spontaneously MC at 9w 
    Nov. '13 AMH level 0.98 
    April '14 IUI w/clomid BFN 
    May '14 IUI w/clomid BFN 
    June '14 AMH level 0.5 
    IVF #1 July '14, 4R/4M/3F   2 8 cells transferred on day 3, nothing made it to freeze, BFN 
    IVF #2 Nov '14 EPP stimmed for 12 days 9R/4M/4F   2 7 cells transferred on day 3, nothing to freeze, BFN
    IVF #3 May '15 cancelled after highest possible meds dosages for over two weeks. converted to IUI, BFN
    DE IVF #1 Dec '15 transferred one BB2 blast, BFP due August 2016

    Me: 35 this month DH: 35

    TTC since January 2013

    2/13: BFP  4/13: MC @ 9 weeks - D&C - no chromosome testing
    7/13: BFP  10/13: MC @ 3 1/2 months - D&C - chrom test normal

    11/13: 1st RE visit for testing only - AMH .4 - FSH 11 - positive MTHFR (one copy)

    2/14: BFP 4/13 (identical mono/tri quads, 2 conjoined) - MC @ 8 weeks - D&C - chrom test normal

    10/14: RE 2nd opinion & IVF consult - Dx small uterine septum - AFC 3 total - recommended banking 3 ERs - DH slightly low morphology
    12/14: First ER cycle - EPP w/testosterone, Lupron microflare w/Saizen. 4R/3M/2F. Both abnormal. RE strongly recommends donor eggs.

    TTC #2 with assistance since 03/11
    Me: 33, Autoimmune (Hashimotos and FMS/CFS)
    Treated with Synthroid, acupuncture, TCM and supplements
    DH: 33, MFI (very low on all counts, high antibodies, hemochromatosis)
    Many treatments tried, none successful

    IVF/ICSI #1 05/14 - EPP/Antagonist, Gonal-F and Luveris, 18R, 14M, 13F - SET of 1BC, all arrested on day 5 - C/P
    Genetic testing = normal, DNA Frag = excellent
    IVF #2 03/15 - Long protocol with Suprefact, Gonal-F, and possibly Luveris, adding in PICSI

    Sitting in my parents backyard in the summer
    Chinese food
    Singing my heart out when I'm home alone
    The hand written messages that always make me cry that DH writes in funny holiday or birthday cards
    When one of our 2 cats cuddles next to me
    Anything caramel
    Hanging out with DH after a long day
    A new year's eve seafood dinner with lots of crab and shrimp with my parents and brothers ( I miss those!)
    Just my DH in general :x
