So two days after Christmas, I went to return something they wouldn't take back anyway, went out to my car, got in, and thanks to the 50 mph winds that day a cart came out of the corral where it was suppose to be and put a 15" crease down the entire side of my fender. And guess what... Wal-mart won't pay for the damage. Prior to this job, I investigated auto accidents for one of the largest insurance company so I knew they wouldn't, but hearing the guy on the phone telling me there was nothing Wal-mart could have done and they won't help me just pissed me right the f**k off. So now I have an entire fender that needs to be replaced, half of my car needs to be painted/blended and I'm stuck paying the deductible. I'm never shopping there again.
.. vent over ..

That sucks!!! I always park at the very back of the lot away from all the carts and morons. It sucks cause it's so freakin' cold to walk all the way across the parking lot but I live in fear of the carts!!!!!!
I feel for you as I have had similar things happen despite my being careful.
I say F*** Walmart too!
Yeah, it's really not Wal-Marts fault that the cart hit your car.

It's not just WM. Target, Tom Thumb/Safeway, other retail places have the same policy.
I agree they could have been nicer, but I'm trying to imagine how many times that guy has received those phone calls from the "special" kind of WM shoppers demanding a new car since theirs got a scratch.
