This check-in is for mommas who lost a baby due in the month of August (any year), and any late loss mommas who gave birth and lost their precious angel in August.

New to the check in: Welcome. I'm so sorry you find yourself here but hope you find the love and support you need from the amazing women on TTCAL. Tell us a bit about yourself, where you are in the TTCAL process, and don't forget to include your August EDD or birth date.

Thank you for the check-in, @dawnstar898 How have you been doing & where are you in your cycle?
I didn't realize nobody has been checking in.
I just popped in to apologize for not being around.  I enjoyed having our little group and I think about you all (including the graduates), but I have not been on the bump since the last time I checked in. 
I am still struggling really badly with my whole situation especially with the holidays coming up and did not want to continue to spread my poor attitude here.  I function in life, but can't get around what might have been; what *should* have been and how much I still have to do.  (Move embryos to a cheaper location, save money for IVF/FET, figure out where to cycle next, become familiar with & warm MH up to the idea of pursuing other options.)
I'm not a miserable person; I can laugh and have fun.  It just all comes back to if I honestly answered the question "Are you okay/happy?", the answer is "No."

Anyway, as I said, my negative attitude is why I tried not to come in here and whine and feel sorry for myself.  I do hope you ladies are doing okay.

Don't feel obligated to check in every week if you don't want to!  I still post it every week just to leave the option open for everyone.  This is actually the 20th's check in, I didn't tag people in the 27th because I didn't want to keep "nagging" if that makes sense.
I am so sorry you are struggling.  It's just so unfair that motherhood comes so easily to some people and others have to sacrifice so much mentally, financially and even socially.  At this point, who cares about the physical sacrifice, right?!  I don't want you to feel bad about posting whatever feelings you have on here, but at the same time don't feel obligated either.  My story is not the same as yours, but I believe I can relate to some of your feelings and frustrations.  Right now I can offer you (((hugs))) and a sympathetic ear, whenever you need it

AFM, I'm on CD 22 and got my +OPK today, so TWW coming soon.  I will actually be in Costa Rica next week so that will be a nice way to wait it out!  I went to my doc last week to do more BW and had an U/S to make sure there's no scarring or any other abnormalities with my uterus.  All tests came back normal and basically we are to keep trying for a few more months on our own.  Good news I guess for now.  Thanks for asking
