Period after ER.

Good morning!

I had my ER on October 3rd and it was a freeze all. Now I'm just waiting for my period to start to get things rolling for an FET. How long did it take you to get your period after the ER?

    I got mine about 2 or 3 days after stopping my progesterone which I was on for a week.

    Your cycle should return about 2 weeks after your trigger shot so you should be pretty close!

    2013: Three CPs w/ EDDs: EDD 2/10/14, EDD 3/24/14, EDD 6/24/14

    IVF/ICSI #1 (Antagonist) - Jan 2014- 19R, 14M, 11F, 3 penguins (6BB, 4BB, 6BC)  PGD tested- All Normal!

    IVF/ICSI #2 (Antagonist) - Feb 2014 - 23R, 11M, 10F, 1 penguin (3BB) - Another Normal!

    FET #1 - March 26, BFN

    FET #2- Beta #1 (9dp5dt) -332, Beta #2 (11dp5dt) -1027, EDD 1/30/2015, Missed M/C, D&C 6/19/14

    IVF/ICSI #3 (Lupron Down Reg) - Oct 2014 - 38R, 28M, 27F, 20 frozen on day 5, 16 normal penguins!!

    FET#3 - February 1, 2015, Prep begins 1/13

    After my ER it took 10 days for my cycle to start.

    I got it 11 days after. Be ready-- I had a little cramping, but I was still somewhat uncomfortable from ER and (sorry if TMI) I didn't have the usual light brown spotting that I always have first-- it went straight to heavy red flow. Even though I was expecting it that week, it was definitely a surprise to not have the brown spotting "heads up" first.

    If I'd been in the know, I would have worn a panty liner as a precaution.

    Our Story

    Me- 35, mild hypothyroidism

    DH- 29, low count due to a chromosomal abnormality, only option is IVF/ICSI with PGD.

    Married 5/13

    TTC since 8/13

    IVF/ICSI #1 ER 9/14 - 14R, 6M, 6F, 5 blasts off to PGD- 1 normal female, 2 balanced males

    FET 12/8 of 2 frosties - 1 male/1 female - stick babies stick! 

    Beta #1 10dp5dt 444! Beta #2 14dp5dt 2,340!  U/S 1/5-- TWINS!!!  EDD 8/26/15

    I'm in the same boat! I don't have an answer as this is my IVF #1 with a freeze all, but I was wondering the same thing! My ER was 10/8. I was assuming it would be 2 weeks after my trigger, and anything earlier will be bonus!! Ready to move on to our FET #1!

    8/2013: SA normal, my bloodwork indicated pituitary hormone imblance
    10/2013: anovulatory
    11/2013: anovulatory
    12/2013 - 3/2014: unmonitored Clomid cycles with TI, all bfn
    04/2014: HSG normal
    05/2014: Clomid + IUI, bfn;
    bloodwork retested and results normal
    06/2014: 1st monitored cycle with RE: Clomid cd3-7 (no growing follies), 
    Femara cd 10-14 (2 follies), ovidrel trigger cd17, IUI, bfn, polyp discovered during u/s
    07/2014: polypectomy
    08/2014: Follistim (50-75 iu/day) cd 2-14 (2 follies), Ovidrel cd15, IUI, crinone
    10/2014: IVF #1, 14R, 13F, 8 blasts. Freeze all due to super enlarged ovaries and a week of bed rest 
    11/2014: FET #1

    @mrsCW We are pretty much in the same boat for an FET. The plan is to get it done  late October early November.
