Mothers group

I am located in the Hills District in NSW. I am due to have my first child 12/12/2014. I am looking for a new mothers group to join but so far haven't had any success finding one close by.

Any suggestions?

Couple things Aly....

1 - Update your screen name so you aren't so easily Googled/stalked
2 - If you are looking to meet the others group in person try your local bump board, meetup, Facebook, house of worship, or local park.

My Australian geography is beyond terrible, so I don't know if any of these are near you, but there appear to be several MOPS (which is loosely church affiliated) groups in NSW: https://mops.org.au/groups/find-a-mops-group.  I have been to a few meetings near me and they typically cover both practical and emotional aspects of motherhood as well as provide near-free child care.
